We had a nice weekend at this house. Lighting and TV need update. Not much provided, so bring your own cooking oil spices, K-Cups, bath soap, etc. Beds were okay. Wood stove kept the place warm, but bring your own wood. Heater also works but we loved the wood stove.
Overall good experience- very cute cabin and good location-and I say this with all the respect and hope that it can be used to bring in more repeat quests- housekeeping could use some work. LOTS of dust, dryer lint was left on table in downstairs bedroom vent upon check in, the upstairs bathroom is covered in layers of dust, that accompanied with checkout instructions to put everything back the way it was left us questioning if it is indeed cleaned between guests.
Very clean, nice neighborhood, close by to downtown
Would stay here again, the owner accommodated us earlier than our original dates (thank you so much!). The cabin was so homey feeling, the beds were comfortable and it was very quiet. Would stay here again!
Short drive to downtown! Loved the house. Had bears around the house- never saw them but heard one run down the deck one night. Neighbor said mother and multiple cubs walked dow the road past the house and in front of the house early mornings and late afternoons. Great location and absolutely beautiful view of mountains just minutes from the house driving towards town.
It’s okay, we loved that I was close to town and we loved the Hank Williams theme!!! It could use a could deep clean. The floor upstairs is slanted and makes you slide off the bed.
The cabin was clean and welcoming when we arrived. Comfortable furniture and comfortable beds. All of the memorabilia was really cool to take in. The location in Chalet Village is just minutes from downtown and the park. Our family thanks you for having us. Such a great time and no shortage of bear sightings!

I enjoyed the area, which was beautiful. The cabin is remote but still a few minutes from dining and shopping. It is a unique cabin and had everything we needed.
2 couples stayed for a weekend and were very comfortable duting the stay. Cabin had everything we needed. Close to Gatlinburg parkway with easy access. Hank Williams history in the cabin was a bonus.
My wife and I just had an enjoyable 3 nights stay at the Hank Williams chalet.
The location was just outside of the main drag in gatlinburg and very easy to get to.
Six minutes and you're in the smoky mountain national park.
This cabin was very clean, comfortable and.. interesting! The memorabilia left you with a connection to the past and feeling like you knew the owner. We had a momma bear & 2 cubs come by every morning and every evening. The first time we saw the momma, it was literally just 4 ft away, on the other side of the kitchen window. Understand, this is a rustic, older cabin. It isn’t the Ritz; if you want that, go elsewhere. But if you want a cabin that is clean, comfortable, interesting, and with a helpful owner with good communication habits, this cabin is a good value.

Wonderful stay!
We loved this little gem perched on the mountain side. First day after unpacking our car, we spotted a black bear across the road. That set the tone for a great Smokey Mountain stay! Loved the chalet and the warm, retro vibe.
My name is Monica Cameron and my family has enjoyed Lovesick Blues for 11 years, and we welcome you and hope that you will enjoy our mountain home too.
Why they chose this property
I have been going to Gatlinburg all of my life with my family. We love Gatlinburg, great activities, wonderful shopping and an awesome atmosphere. I have always admired Lovesick Blues as my parents have a house across the street and I always dreamed to own it one day.
What makes this property unique
I LOVE the outlet shops in Pigeon Forge which is only a few miles away from the cabin. I enjoy relaxing and playing board games in the cabin. During the summer, we love to go to the clubhouse which is just a few short minutes from the cabin. Year round we love to go to the top of the mountain which is only minutes away too. At the top of the mountain, Ober Gatlinburg, there are lots of great activities for the summer and winter. We love to park at Ober Gatlinburg and ride the tram downtown and eat dinner, sight see and shop around.
