Wish we had know the apartment was part of/adjacent to the host main house. There are a few buildings on the property. When we arrived the power was out and the host happened to be in his car charging his phone. He did not contact us to tell us the power was out. It was difficult to find the lockbox that was on a tree trunk by the building. Even when the power went back on there were no working lights outside the front door. Once the power went back on a lot of the lights were still not working inside. There were no sheets on the bed just a comforter, the pillows were lumpy and the furniture is outdated. The blinds on the windows were broken and could not be closed and a few windows had no blinds on them. I will say the place was clean.

This guest Booked a stay for 2 people and invited over 30 guests !!! Than called it “no big deal.” Apparently, the difference between a private stay and a full-blown event escaped her completely Thanks to Vrbo for helping us handle this insanity . As for her review, we’ll give it exactly the credibility her judgment deserves.

Apartment equipped for 2 people. Huge open space, close to all towns in Main Line and convenient to local college campus. No issues with my stay and property manager was responsive . Located in residential area

Week in Penn Wynne

We enjoyed the interesting space and grounds. Building is on a large property with other buildings. Quiet with a lovely yard/garden. Plenty of space. Great place for a couple to stay. Excellent location to many things West Philly and downtown. Property manager was accessible by phone/text. Would definitely consider staying here again.

A wonderful unique find

A wonderfully unique place:)! We were here for our son's graduation., Wish we had found it sooner.... it was very convenient/close to Villanova, and in a beautiful neighborhood The set up and decorations made us feel like we were staying in a museum! Very few places allow dogs. top level was a nice wide-open space with hard wood flooring. Beautifully tiled large shower, and such nice details such at subway tiles in the kitchen area downstairs. It was so much better than the hotels we have had to stay at if we wanted to bring our little dog with us:) Thank you Nachman so much for a wonderful stay and your flexibility with our late arrival..

The rental was promoted as a large gallery apartment. In fact the bathroom was in the basement. Because someone in our group has a walking disability this is completely impossible. I will take some blame for not communicating to the owner in advance to insure that bedroom and bathroom were on same floor. But the owner should be clearer about the layout. Anybody who has a walking disability cannot stay in this rental

Unusual, grand space for a Philly weekend homebase. Great to have free, dedicated parking a short walk to unit! Great to have real privacy separate from owners' quarters and neighbors! Unusual to have to go down a flight of stairs for the bath/kitchen - still, sleeping in a converted estate's private gallery space the kind of experience traveling is made for!
