Elegant, private getaway

Relax in this calm, stylish studio on a secluded lot within the suburbs. You'll appreciate the private porch with table for two as well as the stunning garden and in-ground pool in season. Queen bed plus a full Murphy bed that folds up into a large desk. Unit has washer/dryer, minifridge, microwave, and Nespresso. Dedicated off-street parking. Perfect for college visits, romantic get-aways, writing retreats, or family travel. Close to major highways but feels a world away. No pets or parties.

Your entrance is up the stairs on the left side of the garage.

Guest access
You are welcome to all of the loft and its attached porch, and the yard. Pool is available pending host approval and agreement to comply with all safety measures. Thank you!

Other things to note
There is absolutely no smoking of any kind permitted in the unit or on the property. Guests who smoke in the room will be assessed a fee for the additional cleaning this requires.

Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Place used towels in the blue-and-white laundry bin.
Leave tied-up garbage bag *inside* the unit (in case I don't collect it until the next day)
Please wipe down surfaces of any food remnants--cleaning supplies are in the brown cubbies under the microwave
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
POOL SAFETY: follow all posted instructions. Swim at your own risk.

Perfect in every way! We had a fantastic stay in this truly elegant space. The host was so kind and helpful. The location is in a lovely, tree lined street that is just minutes away from the highway but you honestly would never know it. It is close by the lovely towns of Media and Swarthmore with plenty of cute shops and restaurants. The space was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. It appears to be very recently renovated and everything felt so new and clean. It was very well stocked with high end supplies. The beds were very comfortable with cozy soft bedding. We slept great. But, the best part for me was the spectacular gardens on the property. Everything is so well kept and just gorgeous. The little table on the porch is perfect for morning coffee in the garden. We will definitely be back!

Why they chose this property

I've lived in Swarthmore for over 15 years and chose it as a wonderful place to raise my family (and commute to work!). We are a 15 minute walk to the Septa train station and the sweet "downtown" area, a 10 minute drive to Media (which has great restaurants), and just 25 minutes from Philadelphia. (15 min to airport)

What makes this property unique

The setting! Explore the yard and gardens, and in season, enjoy the outdoor pool! This property was a dream opportunity for us, and we're delighted to share it with our guests.
