Lovely hosts, beautiful house, absolutely fabulous bed, woke up to birds singing, super comfy and well appointed space. Carolyn was wonderfully gracious, suggesting great things to do and even took us to an estate sale that was amazing!!!!!!

The host was super friendly, welcoming, accommodating and had great recommendations! The property was beautiful, well taken care of and in a nice neighborhood. We were only there for a brief stay to see a show at the Ardmore Music Hall (which was only about 6 min by car), but I would definitely stay here again.

Very peaceful and quiet, leafy retreat in the gorgeous Ardmore area! This home is a very special place to land. Very tidy, safe and private, in a gorgeous tree-filled neighborhood. Hosts were very accommodating and helpful. We will definitely try to stay here again next time we are in the area. Highly recommended!!

I appreciated how kind and welcoming of an experience this was even though it was only afternoon and overnight. Very well maintained home inside and outside, the bed and couch were comfortable, and don't forget to add an entry to the guestbook they have! I love the forest seclusion of this location while also being fairly close to things you can go to or order from. Would do this again!

Oh what a delightful experience - the hosts couldn’t be nicer and the location and area to stay in is lovely! The bed is one of the softest I’ve ever slept on. Just a delightful stay!

I was visiting my daughter who is in college in the area. Wonderful comfy spot and great hosts. Dior is a very friendly dog as an added bonus. Would definitely stay again!

Lovely respite

The hosts are gracious and friendly, the property immaculate. Nestled in the woods and hills of Gladwyne, this is a perfect spot for a quiet stay near the bustle of Philadelphia. I especially appreciated the quick responses from my host.

Queen bed for one

Nice room, bath and location. The bed had a low spot in the middle for one person. Mattress is overdue for replacement. Thank goodness for the sofa. Also the hot water was hard to adjust and changed from day to day.

Cozy place to rest

I was in the area for a concert at the Ardmore Music Hall (about 6 minutes away) and this was a lovely place to put my feet up before and after the concert. Check-in confused me at first, since it wasn't obvious to me which door to go in and where to go after that, but the host replied quickly with directions. I loved the fresh peonies in the room - such a nice touch, and my favorite flower! I would happily stay here again, if I found myself in the area.

Greatest Family to Stay With

You will be so glad if you get to stay with this family. They are just lovely, kind-hearted people and their home is immaculate and beautifully decorated and appointed. They also have the softest bed to sleep in. I hope I’ll get to stay with them again!

A Stylish, Spacious Sanctuary!!

If we lived in the area, we'd be friends with the hosts. I mean this seriously. They are gracious, friendly, and fun! Our stay during our daughter's college graduation was perfect. We were able to relax and recharge before/after the festivities and the location couldn't have been more convenient or nicer. Our only regret is not finding this spot sooner! You'll have everything you need in this cool apartment/room.

Cozy, quiet, and a luxurious bed

My stay was a lovely retreat after a day working in a hectic retail setting. I instantly relaxed upon entering the suite. The next door bathroom was spotless. I haven’t slept that well in a year—I owe it to the pillow top mattress and comfy comforter. Although it was a brief overnight stay, I would definitely return and highly recommend as Carolyn is so easy to communicate with and her home is lovely.

Great mid-century modern vibe

Comfortable and spacious room with attached bath comprising 2nd floor of host's home. Nice sitting area with cable TV and coffee/tea bar setup with mini frig and microwave. Great location near shops and restaurants (5 minute drive) with parking on private road. Quick responses to messages. Plan to stay here wherever we visit family in Philly.

Cozy and private suite that exceeded expectations!

The photos of this property do not do it justice. It was much bigger than I expected. Plus it was very cozy and private- I had a separate floor all to myself, with a well-stocked room and a really nice private bathroom. My host could not have been nicer and the property itself is in a beautiful, leafy area under a canopy of trees. If you are visiting local colleges as an alumni or prospective student, this a great place to stay! Consider yourself lucky if it's available.
