Bowl Game stay
Was close to SMU stadium and great location. Nice neighborhood, the only complaint I would have is the intermittent pot wafting in. Not sure where it was coming from as owners are in a close off on the property but neighbors are close too, so not sure. But regardless smelled a little like my son's fraternity, otherwise clean and nice.

Charming but disappointed
The neighborhood was quiet and the house was beautifully decorated. Abundance of coffee makers in each room. In the upstairs bathroom, toiletries were of nice quality and plenty of towels. Bathroom was not fully useful due to sloped/low ceilings, lack of shower curtain/way to mount a hand held attachment in 3rd floor bathroom. The porch off the upper bedroom was darling, should treat area for wasps. Lights on inside of the patio should not be on a timer, stayed on late and made the room very bright. Note kitchen was within the upstairs bedroom/living room, so the person or couple who goes to bed last AND wakes up first should sleep in 3rd floor bedroom/living room. Thermostats for the 3rd floor was set to 71 but lowest temperature got down to was 73. AC worked on the 2nd floor for two other bedrooms. Thermostats and switches were in awkward places. Loved automatic motion sensor lights going up the stairs to the 3rd floor. Extremely strong /multiple air fresheners were used and were unnecessary. A living tennent had access to the 1st floor and that was very uncomfortable. We booked with Vrbo to ensure we wouldn’t be sharing space. The 1st night the home was engulfed in the smell of someone smoking pot. It would have been nice to lock bedroom doors knowing someone else was in the house. Felt more like a frat house than we expected. Overall, nice place, needed more description, not very conducive for a family of 5 to hang out together in the house.
