This was a pet-friendly rental in great condition which was very comfortable on a chilly winter getaway. There was lots of space for the dog to run around nearby, easy access to trails, and it wasn't far from Winchester to be able to go grab dinner or supplies but still in a very quiet neighborhood so it felt like a true getaway.
This cottage was close enough to town without being in town and was well appointed for our stay. We enjoyed walking to the nearby ponds and park. Was a convenient spot to be while we had work done on our home.
This is a wonderful place to stay! We came here for a couple of nights just to go a little off grid and relax. There is a hiking trail nearby which we enjoyed, and there's plenty to do a short drive away in Winchester. Our host was friendly and communicative. We'd definitely come back here!
The cabin is nicely appointed to be cozy and modern. It’s located outside of Winchester so it’s quiet yet close to amenities. Thoroughly enjoyed the cabin! Our host, Leyla, checked in to ensure we knew about winter weather. Very nice!!
Our host was excellent as usual. Fast communication and the property well stocked so that everything we need was at hand. We have stayed here several times so we are used to the excellent service she provides.

My fiancee and i went to this area for the first time for a nearby family celebration. Perfect setting and location. Easy access to all our needs in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley environment.
Would most definitely recommend this property and appreciated all timely responses from out gracious hosts.
Cozy, comfy cabin-host thought of everything to make us feel welcome including blankets for relaxing on one of the most comfortable couches I have ever stretched out on to cookies and oranges on the table in the kitchen. It is in a neighborhood off the main access that is quite busy. Neighbors are close together
My fiancé, pup, and I were looking for a cozy cabin to ring in the new year and Kona’s cabin was the perfect venue for it. We wanted a tranquil place (far from fireworks because of our dog), but also close to a town where we could enjoy the local eateries and shops. We loved how spotless and thoughtful the cabin was. Leyla was an excellent host and was responsive to any questions I had. We would certainly recommend this space or come back to visit!
I loved my stay at Kona Cabin! The listing was exactly as pictured/described. The host was polite and gave us all the checkin/out info we needed. There were no issues with the property during our stay. The cozy cabin vibes were amazing, the furniture comfortable, and a fully stocked kitchen made it easy to feel like home. I hope I have the chance to visit again!
Loved the cabin and location, very near my son so we could visit often. The hostess was very easy to contact. Every email we sent was returned within minutes. Now, that's service. She had the cabin well stocked so we didn't have to run out for anything. Our stay was excellent!
My friends and I came down as I was competing in Woodland Brutality over the weekend. After driving down from PA we found the property to be clean and perfectly stocked for what we expected. After divvying rooms and groceries, the property was excellent. Comfortable and relaxing after days of running exerting myself.
We have stayed here before and is always a positive experience. The host is top notch and communicates very timely. Usually within minutes! The property is always very clean and tidy. The host has ample supplies of toiletries and kitchen items. Even kurieg coffee samples. Nice touch.
No doubt we will stay here again.

This was a perfect little home for a couple or family with kids. The living room was cozy with the fireplace. King size bed in the loft area was great just not meant for tall people and our dog of terrified of the steps so we slept in the bedroom downstairs. The record player actually works. Once you left the place it was not far from downtown Winchester and it was a straight shot. The James Charles winery was very nice and oak stone had great pizza. If you’re looking for a little getaway this place is for you.
The listing pictures do not do the quality of the home justice. The stone outside and wood inside were so beautiful, warm, and well maintained with some of the highest quality materials. We brought a long our dog and the grassy area outside was great for fetch and zoomies. The comfort and quiet were exactly what we were looking for in this weekend away from the city.

Hey there! I'm Leyla (she/her), I'm an early 30s professional, living and working in the suburbs of Washington, DC.
My husband and I visited Winchester, VA, when wedding venue shopping, and loved it so much, we decided to buy our own slice of paradise there!
We're so excited to share our cozy cabin with others looking for a weekend getaway north of the Shenandoah mountains.
Why they chose this property
We discovered Winchester, VA, a few years ago when we were wedding venue hunting. Early for our venue appointment, we stopped into downtown Winchester to grab a beer and kill some time. We loved Winchester so much, not only did we get married here, but we bought this cabin to host others and show them what makes this area so spectacular!
We spent months renovating this 1960s cabin into the cozy but modern space it is today. We're so thrilled we can share this home with you and are equally as excited to show off the historic town of Winchester, VA, with all those willing to explore its beauty.
What makes this property unique
We fell in love with the stone hearth, exposed beams, and original character maintained in this 1960s-style cabin.
The cabin includes: - Three bedrooms (2 twin beds, 1 queen, 1 king in master loft space) - A spacious outdoor space and backyard - Large, cozy living room with exposed beams and floor to ceiling stone hearth - Wood stove/fireplace to stay warm in the cold weather months - Kitchen with updated appliances (dishwasher, full-sized fridge, and gas stove) - 45" Smart TV in the living room, set up so you can easily sign-in to Netflix, Disney+, or any of your streaming services - WiFi that’s fast enough to stream movies and hold video calls (perfect for remote workers) - Central AC and heat to keep you comfortable all year round - Stackable washer and dryer - Outdoor fire pit to wind down the evening with s’mores!
