Perfect family destination! The house was clean and comfortable but the star of the show is the lake! Kayak, paddle boards, floaties, fishing gear all included for use in the lake which is just steps from the house. We literally never left the property except for grocery store runs! An added bonus was the bald eagle with a nest in a nearby tree!!

Cozy cabin close to Elk Mountain

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming lakefront home. Everything was clean and comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with cookware, and the view of the lake was lovely. We would definitely stay here again when returning to ski at Elk Mountain!

We loved this home the minute we walked in. We are a retired couple and our daughter, husband and their seven year son came along. The 7 year old was enamored with all the fishing rods and tackle! and he and his grampy fished every day and caught (and released) plenty. We took our kayaks and with the ones provided there (and also paddleboards and trolling boat), we spent many pleasurable hours on the lovely lake. A blue heron frequented the dock as well as many other birds. The neighbors were super friendly and lent us a bottle opener to open the delicious provided wine. Thank you! We enjoyed the little details throughout, the gas fireplace, the unique coffee table, the wonderful showers, mirrors with special features, labeled light fixtures, spacious deck, etc.... On our way home we visited Lakeland Farms and highly suggest it, Waking up every morning with a lake view was really special for us city dwellers. Thank Bobby Marcon.

Relaxing Stay

We had a great time at Bobby's place. The house was just as described. The couple of times we needed to speak to Bobby, he texted back immediately, or we spoke on the phone. We enjoyed it so much, we booked for next year. Nothing but positive reviews.

Great Ski Weekend Getaway

We had a wonderful stay experience and ski weekend. The home was newly renovated on a beautiful lake close to Elk Mountain Ski resort and fully outfitted with everything you could ask for. Our kids really enjoyed the opportunity to try out ice fishing for the first time, thanks to a handy ice hole drill and fishing gear. The super cozy gas stove and fireplace was enjoyed by all especially when the temperature got down in the teens. Highly recommend.

Perfect cozy getaway!

My husband and I had the most perfect quiet getaway at Morcom's Fiddle Lake lodge! The view of the lake was beautiful and the house was peaceful and cozy. I was looking for somewhere to relax and unwind from the everyday stresses and this was the perfect place. With the mountain nearby it was the perfect place for my husband to go snowboarding while I could curl up with a book. The owners were very responsive when inquiring about bringing our fur baby and even left her some treats (that she immediately found upon entering the house)! Overall a wonderful experience.

Beautiful lake front property.

We had a wonderful time at Bobby’s cozy home. A 12 min drive to the mountain to ski. Perfect fit for 2 families. Lake was frozen solid and we were able to ice fish! Bobby was responsive to our questions. Thank goodness he left salt on the property. The driveway was ice and we would have been stuck without the salt. We look forward to renting the home in the summer to swim in the lake. A beautiful property.
