Looking for a getaway with a view but the comfort of home, the Hampton House offers both including a spacious boat ramp. This spacious house offers sunset views of the Mississippi River from the kitchen, living room and master suite. Feel right at home with amenities including a Keurig coffeemaker, fully equipped kitchen, smart TV’s, fresh linens and towels as well a washer & dryer on site. Just a short drive to Le Claire and home of the American Pickers! If you enjoy bicycling then this house is right for you as The Great River Trail bike path is right outside the front door. We also have two local parks within a half mile away with all kinds of hiking and activities to do. Brand new hot tub for your enjoyment as well!!

If you wish to be directly on the Mississippi, this is the place. Large deck, just a bit south of lock 14. Home is imaculate, clean, with plenty of river views. Hot tub available (didn't use) but was prepped and ready. Great place to be lazy but there's lots to see and do nearby. The host was excellent, we will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay—being right on the Mississippi River made for a relaxing and unique setting. Watching the birds and river activity was a highlight, and the hot tub was a great touch, especially in the evenings.The home was clean, and the listing was accurate. It’s minimally decorated but comfortable, and the walk-in closet provided plenty of storage for clothes and luggage.A couple minor things to note: the bed was just okay—not uncomfortable, but not especially great either. The shower is quite small, which could be challenging for taller guests. Also, while the hot tub is great, it doesn’t have any shade, so it can get pretty intense to use during the day in direct sunlight.Overall, a nice, clean place in a great location—we had a relaxing stay and would recommend it.

We were in town for a golf tournament for my boys and the place was perfect. This was the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed in. With two 17 year old boys, we had plenty of space without stepping all over each other. The little extras like board games, make-up removers, and cotton swabs were great added touches. The beds were super comfortable and the views were great.

Mississippi View house

Comfy updated home right on the river. We enjoyed fishing, the hot tub, playing Big Jenga on the oversized ddck. Beds were comfy and kitchen well stocked.
