The main bedroom features a lovely queen sized bed, hotel quality linens, a closet as well as a dresser for storage & a private half bathroom. The half bathroom includes a pedestal sink, mirror & toilet.
The second bedroom features lots of bright sunshine from 2 large windows, a queen bed, luxury linens & an armchair for added seating.
The home also features 1 full bathroom with a shower/tub combo & high-end towels.
LIVING SPACE: When you step into the Downtown Charmer you will be greeted by the cozy living room complete with a couch, armchair with a foot stool, coffee table, mounted Smart TV & an original wood burning stove (for decor). The space allows you to instantly relax from the moment you walk through the door. The classic décor highlights the areas lakes & allows bright twinkling light through the windows as it shines through the gorgeous stained glass accent pieces.
As you walk around the corner, right off the kitchen is a dedicated dining area with an antique table with seating for 4, a beautiful hutch, & lots of natural light shining through another unique stained glass accent feature.
The galley kitchen features all main appliances including a fridge, electric stove, oven, microwave & a dishwasher to make clean up easy! Basic countertop appliances such as a drip coffee pot & toaster are also available. Everything you may need to create a delicious meal from cookware, plates, glassware, & utensils are available here at the Downtown Charmer.
Downstairs in the basement you will find a washer & dryer available as well as extra space to hang out or utilize as storage.
OUTSIDE: Enjoy the fresh Idaho air outside in the front or backyard here at the Downtown Charmer. The yard is filled with lush green grass to allow the little ones to run around & play or there is a outdoor dining set available if you would like the dine al fresco. Sip a cup of coffee or enjoy an adult beverage at the end of a fun filled day under the bistro string lights. The back patio also features a propane grill to make dinner easy!
Behind the home there is a dedicated pad next to the garage with 2 free parking spaces available. Additional street parking is available if needed.
Outdoor fires are restricted Memorial Day through the end of October. We appreciate your help in protecting our beautiful lands and properties.
Guest Access: To receive access information you are required to submit a valid form of ID to Vacation Rental Authority using the provided link after your reservation is confirmed. This location is absolutely perfect for walking to downtown and neighboring areas to eat, shop and enjoy CDA! We stayed here for several weeks and absolutely loved it.
This was just what we needed. A place to rest… play games… have food… and a fenced backyard for the dog. It was stocked with essentials and clean! Super pleased!
Cute little place, close enough to downtown that we could walk or ride our bikes. Plenty of room for three people, had all the necessities including washer and dryer which was nice after dirty bike rides. Good food options within a block or two if you are not wanting to go downtown. Would stay again!
This rental property is adorable! The private backyard set up with a grill, patio set and white lights strung above is perfect for evening gatherings.

Cute house. It definitely has charm. Greatly enjoyed the location. Loved walking to the park with my dog daily and for fun in the evening. The house has two bedrooms that were plenty big. AC was amazing as it hit close to 100 a couple days of our stay. Also loved the yard as we did bring out dog. Sitting in the yard nightly once we got back after a full day out was very pleasant. Close by restaurants were very good as well. Had a slight issue with the coffee pot but the management company was very responsive and fixed it. Thank you for making our stay a good one.
I reserved the house so we had a place to stay while my husband has brain surgery. 4 days prior to surgery the doctors assistant called to tell me they had to reschedule due to an equipment issue. I tried to cancel the house but was told it could only be done with 14 days notice. The agreement says you can cancel due to medical or extenuating circumstances, I would say this is both. We are now out the charge for 8 days plus I have to find something for his upcoming surgery date.
The property was perfectly located. It was a perfect set up. It was very homey. We had everything we needed. Oddly, enough we couldn't find a sink strainer. We made do without. The house is an older property. The overall smell of the house is dated and musty. The biggest update it needs are blockout roller shades on Both windows in the primary bedroom. Waking up with the sun at 4:30 am on vacation is not relaxing. The carpet should be removed in the primary as well. The 2nd bedroom sheets, some dishes and 1 towel were not clean. The AC thermostat was locked at 72. It was hot every night in the house. We opened windows. The neighborhood is a transitional neighborhood. We did not know there was a group home 2 doors down and there was a multiple victim stabbing while we were there. The CDA police did an excellent job responding and keeping us safe. The back porch door does need a combo lock on it. When the street was blocked off as a crime scene we could not get into the house via the alley. The location is great and we walked to the beach and other restaurants. Love CDA. Overall the house is functional and the back patio and fenced yard was used a lot by our family. It was a strange first VRBO experience.
