Always a pleasure working with Martha Murray! This property was a great fit for our party of three adults and one child. We were grateful to be able to check in early and arrive to a comfortable and adequately clean, albeit a little cluttered, cottage. We loved having the backyard space for our 5 y.o to run around and play in and an outside table to eat at. Similarly, the front porch was a wonderful spot for morning coffee and reading.The beach access was absolutely perfect for days we didn't want to adventure to other beaches. It was very well maintained, especially compared to the neighboring association beaches, with plenty of space even at high tide.The biggest con was the shower. We love an outdoor shower and look forward to using them, however the door didn't latch correctly so you either spent a good deal of time trying to get it to stay shut (or open, once you're in there), or you accepted you'll be showering in your bathing suit due to lack of privacy. The shower inside the home was incredibly small and awkwardly placed in the bathroom, so there were no great options.Additionally, the AC in the main living area was very dirty when we arrived. We actually took some of it apart to wipe it down and clean the filter because we could not in good consciousness turn it on as is. All in all, we would absolutely return to this cottage. We had a very relaxing stay and it is truly a great fit if you just need simple and comfortable place to sleep, eat, and get to the beach. A few simple fixes would make it five stars in our book.
