About the host
Hosted by Brandon
Hello and thank you for choosing our Hygge House! We are a couple of Midwesterners (I'm from Michigan, a Yooper in fact, and Francie from Ohio). We both enjoy the lake – Francie likes to be in it and I'm fine to just be near it.
We both went to college in Michigan though we didn’t meet each other until after we were both in Ohio. Francie is a social worker and I'm an engineer.
The pandemic introduced us to a slower pace of living and that’s something we’ve been trying to maintain. Our decision to make this a Hygge House stems from that. We hope you’ll make it a priority while staying here to be a little less connected, enjoy the peace and quiet, have great conversations, take in the views, listen to a record rather than stream and forget where you put your phone (and be ok with it) – all things we do when we’re here.
