Sunrise Cottage offers a peaceful blend of comfort and natural beauty in a newly remodeled, bright, and airy retreat set on 8 acres of shared wooded and open landscape. Perfect for families and groups, it sleeps up to 8 with a king bed, double bed, a twin-over-full futon bunk, and two twin floor mattresses in the loft. (Note: the loft is ladder-access only and has a low ceiling.) The open-concept layout is ideal for cooking meals together, relaxing, or enjoying game nights. Check-in is at 4pm and check-out is at 11am.

Guests enjoy access to 372 feet of beautiful Lake Michigan beachfront. The shoreline is reached by around 90 steps, with a public access point just 0.2 miles away for a no-stairs option. Two bluff viewing spots offer stunning sunset views. While the cottage does not have lake views, the bluff overlooks and shoreline provide memorable lakeside moments. Beach accessories are provided, and beach fires are permitted for cozy evenings. A nearby boat launch onto White Lake—with channel access to Lake Michigan—makes it easy to enjoy time on the water. In-cottage laundry adds extra convenience.

Entertainment includes a 55" Smart TV, high-speed Wi-Fi, a small loft TV ready for gaming, and books and games for all ages. Restaurants and golf courses are close by, including one within walking distance. Michigan’s Adventure Water Park is only 25 minutes away. Parking is free for up to 4 vehicles or trailers; please notify us if you’re bringing a boat.

The property also features an additional 3 acres on the upper bluff—perfect for birdwatching, peaceful walks, and enjoying the natural surroundings.

During the July 4th week, expect a livelier atmosphere as neighboring cottages may host extra guests. Parties are not allowed, and only registered guests (maximum of 8) may be on the property.
