The Space:
Experience luxury living at the Union Hill House in Burton, Texas. Built in 2016, this property boasts top-of-the-line amenities such as a Wolf range, Subzero refrigerator, steam shower, outdoor gas fireplace, wine fridge, and whole home sound system. The open-layout first floor features a kitchen, dining area, office space, and cozy den. The second floor boasts a spacious seating area with a 70" TV, game table, work space, vintage bar, and jukebox. Each bedroom offers comfortable percale sheets and down bedding. Bathrooms include Kiehl's products.

Relax outdoors on the grand elevated deck with rocking chairs and fireplace, or take a dip in the small heated spa pool (~70°). Guests will have full and exclusive access to the property. This includes the main home, the cabin and pool areas. The property is completely private.

1) There are no parties, undisclosed pets or events on the property. Additional guests beyond those on the reservation are also not allowed on the property without express permission from the host.

2) We maintain exterior security cameras - located at all entrances, driveway, porch and pool areas - and noise monitoring devices to ensure the safety of guests and the property.

3) The use of the pool is at your own risk and there is no lifeguard on duty. Use of the pool facilities involves certain risks, including injury or death. Guests are responsible for monitoring children around the pool at all times.

4) We allow a small pet for an additional fee. Undisclosed pets will result in the immediate cancellation of the reservation.

Beautiful property and home!

We had a fantastic girls weekend at this home! It was the perfect stay and the home was so spacious for all of us to spread out! It was beautiful and so thoughtfully put together. Would love to come back!

Such a special place!

We loved staying in this beautiful family house! Even though our stay was cut short, we enjoyed staying 2 nights. The house is big and functional, the kitchen is well equipped. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious. The cabin has so much charm. Matt was very responsive and we really appreciate that.

Lovely relaxing place

This place is exactly as described. What you don't see on the listing are the nice touches! There are little accomodations everywhere. Toiletries, fun signs, even a map of the kitchen. The linens and beds are so soft and comfy, all the furniture is solid and the rooms are quiet. Plenty of places to sit and relax. The porches are inviting, we spent most of our time outside! The property manager is very communicative and helpful. The town of Brenham is about 15 minutes away and worth carving out a whole day to explore.

Great Country Home For a Family Milestone!

Celebrated our 40th anniversary with our kids and grandkids and this property was perfect! The swimming pool was perfect as we were able to keep an eye on the grandchildren from the deck and family room. Incredible views of the countryside made for great pics. Each bathroom was unique and the tile work was beautiful. The upstairs was a fun space and made for great movie nights. Incredible property with lots of history!

Great property, but don’t go for the pool.

My sisters and I loved the house and the property, it was very nice and cute. But the pool was not described as an endless pool that was just an exercise pool. It is the middle of July, so we really chose this house for the access to a nice pool to be able to spend the hot days in. And we definitely did not get that. Even if we would have tried to all cram in there, apparently all of the chemical levels were off on it and we learned this the day before we left so good thing we never got in. If you do not care to use the pool or hot tub, then it is the perfect place. We were just very disappointed to pay this price and not have a pool, we definitely would not have chosen the place if we knew.

The Union Hill House is incredibly special - it blends modern, luxurious amenities with unique, vintage touches in a serene and spacious setting. It's just so peaceful and beautiful walking in the fields as the sun sets. Plus you're close to all of the wonderful restaurants and antique shops of Round Top and Brenham.

One of the main attractions in the area is Round Top, a quaint town just a 10-minute drive from our property. Round Top is famous for its antique vendors and local restaurants. You can spend hours browsing through the antique shops, searching for unique treasures and one-of-a-kind items. And when you're ready for a break, stop by one of the many restaurants for a delicious meal, from classic Southern comfort food to gourmet cuisine.

Another must-visit destination is the Saddlehorn Winery, just a short drive from our Airbnb. The winery offers tastings of their beautiful vineyard and wood-fired pizza. Take a stroll through the vineyard, relax on the patio, and soak in the views of the countryside.

If you're looking for outdoor adventures, there are plenty of options nearby. You can explore the hiking and biking trails at Lake Somerville State Park, just a short drive from our Airbnb.
