Perfect for a little family getaway! The heat advisory kept us inside more than we’d planned, but the place is set up nicely, so we still had a great time playing games and making meals together!

Lots of sleeping space. Very convenient for going to Starved Rock and Matthiessen State Parks which is why we chose it. Also just a short drive into Utica for lots of dining options. If you have kids or adults who like games - air hockey, skeet ball, table shuffle board- it’s a great choice, though the games being in the bedrooms is kind of strange. The big dining table is great for cards or board games too. You might want to bring soap for the showers and salt and pepper for the kitchen as we found none there.

It was the perfect spot for my daughter‘s birthday party. They loved the arcade games and air hockey, etc.. plenty of room to cook, and do crafts. We all had a really nice time!

Fun family vacation conveniently close to Starved Rock! Host was really easy to communicate with and even replaced the coffee maker during our stay! We cooked all of our meals in the kitchen so it definitely had the tools we needed. Games were so fun for the whole family! Master bedroom has very comfortable king size bed and 2 queen air mattresses in the closet. 2nd bedroom has 2 beds (fits 4 people). Our kids loved the fireplaces! Nice big kitchen!!

Overall very good, electronics were a little dated/difficult to navigate, but it had everything we needed, very spacious even though the cabin was split into different units. Still had a nice cabin in the woods/secluded feeling. Easy in and out.
