If you are going to Oaklawn, then this is an amazing location! If you like being lulled to sleep by traffic, this is the place for you as well. The place was pretty clean except the floors did turn my socks brown. The owner was very responsive when I couldn't figure out how to use the cooktop. Bring basics such as salt, pepper, coffee, creamer, etc.

Something to think about

Not enough towels for 4 guess. Had to buy trash bags. Bed in the master bed room was to close to the wall. A queen would be nice! Need a dress in the rooms to put your clothes.

Convenient but not relaxing

Convenient to Oaklawn. Nice remodel with decent furnishings. Noisy. If you're a remotely light sleeper, pass because you'll be listening to cars zipping by the single pane windows until 2a. If you're lucky the neighbor in the adjoining space (weird adjoining door) won't be talking until 4a. Wi-Fi was weak in the living room. (Yes I shared with property manager). Roku movies lagged constantly. My laptop wouldn't load stock market trading software unless I was in the bedroom. Perfectly good signal in the living room but they give you access to a different signal that sucked in the living room. (That particular signal originates in building 2 apparently.)

Weekend at the track

We love this property because it’s right across the street from the track and convenient to everything else. Weren’t as pleased with the unit that we had this time compared to last year, but it was on the ground floor. Had a few issues that we addressed directly with the owner, but nothing that would stop us from staying here again.

Greay Location for Oaklawn!

Overall we enjoyed our stay! The condo was easy to find and is within walking distance to Oaklawn race track and casino. The condo was clean and well stocked with anything we needed. The ony issue we had is the noise from the traffic outside. The building itself is older and the cars passing by are very loud from the bedrooms. Maybe pack ear plugs if you are a light sleeper!
