About this property
A Cozy Creek Cabin - Creekside 3 BR, 3 BA, Hot Tub
Cozy and creekside are both names that definitely fit this beautiful custom built 3 bedroom, 2 bath log cabin home sleeping 6 comfortably. Your vacation will be completely transformed from the moment you hear the creek babbling in the distance when you arrive. Located in a log home community, we trust you will find this home to be the complete package and sure to be everything you are looking for in a vacation rental. Plus, access couldn't be easier with its newly paved driveway!
Located just minutes from Maggie Valley, right off its main road, this home features a rolling side yard, expansive back deck overlooking the creek complete with firepit and comfy hammock just a few steps away from the bubbling hot tub. A charcoal grill completes the package for summer (and winter) grilling at its best. Also, everything is located on one level easily accessed by ramp as well as by steps leading to the main floor. Like we said, the complete package.
Large rockers are the first to greet you on the spacious covered front porch, just meant for rocking the night away. Once inside you feel the warmth of the mountains meet you. You are greeted with a large, overstuffed couch and loveseat with power recliners on both sides, face a beautiful hand-laid stone gas fireplace, perfect for enjoying a night in front of a roaring fire. A large 65” LG Roku TV complete with streaming DirectTV located there gives you the ability to watch any of your favorite shows. To the right is the dining room with stunning hand-hewn table for six, a great space to play cards or enjoy an evening meal with friends and family. Board games including backgammon and Trivial Pursuit as well as puzzles are available for the competitors in your group. The kitchen is a Chef’s delight with all the amenities you would expect from a vacation home, including a Keurig coffee maker, crock pot, toaster, blender, and microwave.
A full-size washer/dryer is also located in the laundry adjacent to the kitchen and additional TVs are located in all three bedrooms. As an added bonus, both bathrooms have heated floors – a special treat in the winter months!
All sleeping areas are on the main floor. Down the hall from the kitchen and dining room is the primary king bedroom complete with primary ensuite bath with shower. There are two queen bedrooms on the main floor with a shared bath with shower and large soaking tub in between. All bedrooms have large flat screen TV’s.
Stepping out on the back deck, your first thought is the peacefulness of your surroundings. Deck table and chairs calls you to dine alfresco, by the creek. The adjacent fire pit complete with dimmable outdoor lighting and Adirondack chairs is the perfect place to end your day. To recap, this property comes equipped with hot tub, washer/dryer, central heat and A/C, Spectrum internet, Wi-Fi, gas fireplace, firepit, and charcoal grill.

The road leading to the turnoff road to the driveway is a flat fully paved state road and adjacent to the main road leading into Maggie Valley. A Cozy Creek Cabin is only a few minutes’ drive to the heart of Maggie Valley, Cataloochee Ski Area (known for being one of the first ski resorts in the US to open each year), Tube World (snow tubing), Wheels Through Time (a historic motorcycle museum featured on the History Channel's “American Pickers”), horseback riding and only a few miles from golfing. In about 20 minutes, you could be in Waynesville at Ingles and Publix grocery stores, Walmart or head to Main Street in Waynesville and enjoy additional shopping, dining, and sightseeing.
This home is about a 20-minute drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and Harrah's Cherokee Casino (even if you do not gamble, Harrah's has some of the best restaurants around), Pisgah National Forest, several golf courses, and just west of Cherokee is Bryson City (home of the Great Smoky Mountain Railway and “Polar Express” during the Christmas Holiday).
A little more than 50 minutes away, you’ll arrive in Asheville at the Biltmore Estate & Winery (America's largest and most visited privately-owned home), many great restaurants and micro-breweries, and 1 hour and 30 minutes away is Transylvania County (home of the most waterfalls in the United States), and over 100 Antique Shops.
Approximately, 1 hour away heading south to Hendersonville, you can visit Sierra Nevada Brewery (with their enormous dining and Tap Room), gem mining, white water rafting, zip-lining and much more in the surrounding areas. You are just under 1 hour 35 minutes to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee (home of Dollywood).
