For the price this property was top tier. Located within a few minutes of most Destin attractions and restaurants. I strongly suggest this property for anyone’s stay in Destin.

The floors were dirty when we stayed. We had to keep socks on because it turned our feet black within the first hour of arriving. Also there were soft spots in the floors all throughout the property. We also were on the top floor and had a down stairs neighbor complain that we were making too much noise… so if you have little babies -like we did- probably not stay on the second floor. Other than that , it’s in a great location. The host was very attentive and very fast at replying to me.

While I am not familiar with any soft spots in the floor we will have this looked at by a maintenance technician. We would have certainly been happy to send the cleaners back if we had been notified. You are correct that there is a potential for noise in a condo, as there are shared walls. We do hope to host you again in the future under better terms!

The host was very responsive and helpful. The property was clean and in good condition. Nice view of the lake and super convenient to the pool. We would consider staying there again in the future.

Reasonable rate, easy check in, Wi-Fi was better than I usually experience, right next to the pool, kitchen was fairly well stocked, and communication with owner for any issues was encouraged

The blow dryer was only cold air, the faucet on tub came off. Front storm door would not shut. Many grills on the property were rusted out. Good things were dog park, warm pool, clean accommodations .

Great place to stay in Destin.

Our 3 night stay was very enjoyable, the property is close to everything you could want, the owner was super friendly and knowledgeable about which beaches to visit. The condo was exactly as pictured and provided a nice respite from the humidity and heat. Kitchen was fully stocked to cook your own meals and for the length of our stay we had just enough towels etc. Beach towels were provided and we met several nice families at the pool located right outside the condo. The turtles and fish in the lake were pretty neat. We would definitely recommend the stay!

We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable apartment, it has everything you need to feel at your own 🏝home, everything is clean, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook and the pool is a few steps from the apartment. Served our needs well! Centrally located to all Destin offers.

We stayed a full month in Destin, and this second floor condo worked well for us. My husband and I both work remotely, and the internet supported our work without issue. What we paid (as early renters of this unit) seemed a great value compared to other options in Destin. This condo is in a very central location to Destin. We could walk to June White Decker beach park in about 15 mins, and it was only 5 mins there by car. Plenty of restaurants & stores within walking distance. The community seems to be a mix of full-time working class residents, snowbirds, and short-term vacationers. Established in the early 70s, it’s a bit dated and tired looking. While we were there they were making improvements to the landscaping and resurfacing one of the pools. There were no surprises as the listing set our expectations properly. I always felt safe. Overall, the area was quiet. Lots of people have dogs. This unit faces a small lake where you can see ducks and turtles which was a highlight of the property. The unit itself is well-equipped. All of the furniture (minus the dresser in the bedroom) is newer. The countertops, sinks, light fixtures, floors, and ceiling fans are all recently updated. The cabinetry (kitchen and master bath) and master tub are possibly original. Comfy memory foam bed. Cons - sound from neighbors/thin walls & floors, fit and finish a bit shoddy in places, spongy/creaky floor in a couple of spots.

Few issues that keeps property from getting a higher score. Screen door in need of repair, flooring in several places felt spongy. Location, not as nice as I hoped for. I shared with the owner my initial concerns about the property. I was told that some of the issues could be addressed during my stay. I elected not to have maintenance come out because of my short stay, and a desire to minimize disruptions. Hopefully, after my stay those issues were addressed and the property evaluations improve.
