Three floors on a wooded acre in The Pinnacle, a quiet private community on the Glendale side of Deep Creek Lake. Four bedrooms and three full baths sleep twelve — two kings, two queens, bunks and a sofa bed — with a huge dining table so the whole group eats together.

Bringing kids? There's a crib, a high chair, stair gates, a playroom, and a drawer of books and games upstairs.

In winter the wood-burning fireplace warms the house in about fifteen minutes, Wisp is five minutes away, and the garden tub in the master is the right ending to a day on the slopes. In summer the lake is a short walk, with dock access through the neighborhood.

Deer wander through the yard most mornings. Oakland is a short drive for restaurants and the Autumn Glory Festival, and Swallow Falls and Deep Creek Lake State Park are both close by.

A selfie with Yogi in the front yard is a must.

It was perfect for us ! The hot tub,fire pit, and partially wooded lot were what we looking for. The house is beautiful inside. The owners respond quickly to questions we had and even had grill tools sent to the house when we couldn’t find theirs. We would definitely go back again!

Great fire pit!!

We enjoyed the visit. Deep Creek has so much to offer. This cabin is very close to the State Park with many things to do and is also close to some very good restaurants. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit.

A perfect location for our family - we put in our kayaks at the state park right around the corner because of the motorboat traffic at the dock access, so we were glad it was so convenient. After hiking and paddling our kids loved playing pool and making smores in the evenings. This was a great house!

We stayed for a weekend at this house with our friends who visited from Florida. The house was clean, supplied well with kitchen items, sheets, towels, etc. Adults and kids had a blast in the hot tub, game room, and fire pit. Best of all, the owners were incredible hosts. Old friends gathered together for our 2nd annual Fall vacation and 'un plugging' from the world. The house was everything you see in the picture and described. Best Mother’s Day Weekend Ever!

We visited this beautiful home to celebrate my 60th Birthday, as well as Mother’s Day! The property was clean and gorgeous and so so comfortable! The weather was a bit cold and rainy so we took full advantage of the hot tub, fire pit, pool table, dart board and other fun yard and inside games….since we had 6 grandkids with us, ranging from age 1 to 11! Perfect for families

This home was perfect for our “long weekend” getaway celebrating a 30th birthday. Our group included six children under the age of six. The house is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood with a lot of privacy. We were pleasantly surprised with all of the games and toys for the children. The trampoline (with sprinkler hook up) was their favorite surprise. The home was very clean and comfortable. Comfortable beds and pillows, cozy throw blankets, and a kitchen stocked with all of the gadgets you could need.

We are family people! Our children, extended family, and friends mean everything to us and we love making memories with them. We understand that time is prescious and spending it with those we love is a gift. Hibernation Station is set up for maximizing those prescious moments with tons of activities to do at the house, plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable, and a location that works perfectly for accessing everything that is Deep Creek Lake!

Why they chose this property

Our neighborhood is beautiful! There is plenty of room between houses, some forested areas, some open fields, abundant wildlife, and the layout is perfect for family walks! The tennis, pickleball, basketball court keeps the kids busy and adults get to enjoy relaxing walks! We are only a short walk (1/3 mi) to the lake, boathouse, and dock.

What makes this property unique

We love that our house stands on a partially wooded lot with room for outdoor activities. The firepit, hot tub, deck, and patio extend the living area and provided so much space to enoy the outdoors. The house feels secluded but also open with a nice view and easy access to get in and out. The large driveway with extended parking pad makes parking a breeze. Inside the house, we have a huge dining table. Family meals, cooked at home, or brought in are important to us! The master bedroom is huge!!! The basement offers the game room with pool table, darts, multigame table, TV room, and sleeping for about 6- that's where our teens and their friends like to hang.
