We had a wonderful time at Penny Lane! We visited during peak fall foliage and enjoyed watching the ever-changing sky and colors of the trees across the lake. We had a few crystal-clear nights where we could see lots of stars. The house was very comfortable and settling in was effortless. All areas were well appointed…kitchen, dock, decks off the kitchen, bedrooms, and great rooms. The house had the promised space for parking 3 cars which we needed. The stairs down into the house were very sturdy, something our over 65 crowd appreciated. Penny Lane was a great location for our day trips and provided a quiet walk along East Bluff Road for our rest days. Check-in and contacting the owner was quick and easy. If we come back to the area, we’d love to stay here.

We are grateful for your 5* review of your stay at Penny Lane, thank you for choosing to stay with us!
This home was great for our three generation family vacation! The house was clean and lovely! It’s centrally located to all of the area attractions and wineries.
Lovely, well laid out house, perfect for our 3 generation gathering. Well equipped kitchen, toy box, crib, great waterfront, comfortable beds and convenient location.
Beautiful house, gorgeous lake, quiet neighborhood. This house was exactly what we needed for a quiet, relaxing family vacation. We would definitely return to this property.
Gorgeous lake views from various spots on the house. Large well set up kitchen. Plenty of space in all 3 floors. Excellent dock space for sitting and enjoying lake views.
Clean, family friendly & well-appointed. Lots of space for extended family. Grandchildren loved the “bunk room”.Two-level dock, gas fire pit, kayak & paddle board add to lake-life enjoyment.Steps a-plenty & limited green space for little ones to roam.
Our family starting at 6 months had a wonderful time at Penny Lane. The home had everything we needed including a toy box of items and a children’s kitchen to keep the young ones entertained. The deck was fantastic for sunset views as we gathered around the fire pit. The kitchen was fully equipped and the beds were nice and comfy. Fishing was good and proximity to activities was very key with young travelers!
Such a beautiful home and spectacular view from every room! I loved the dock with the gas fire pit. It was so nice having coffee out there in the morning. The house was very clean and comfortable. It was also the best grill I've ever used! Definitely 5 stars for everything!
The house and dock were beautiful and a pleasure to live in for a week. Beds were very comfortable, and the management company was very responsive to our one call/issue and it was resolved quickly. The kitchen was well-equipped, although all the pots/pans had non-stick coatings that were scratched.
This was our first stay at Penny Lane - a 3-day weekend - and we loved it! Everywhere there are huge windows facing the lake! We utilized all the pleasant nooks on the main and lower floors where we could relax - read - play and yet still hear the the water lapping against the shore. The multi-level dock was ideal for our boat and the top deck was relaxing throughout the day and the perfect place to gather at night around the fire pit. Our grands loved all the toys provided while the adults loved the secure gate at the landing and safety closures on all the cupboards. I'm certain there were plenty of amenities still undiscovered when we left! We highly recommend Penny Lane as it is gorgeous, well-appointed, clean, and has a lake view from every room!
(Note: It is multi-level which means loads of stairs for both children and grandparents to navigate.)
We had a wonderful stay with family at Penny Lane! We love Keuka Lake and were there for a family wedding. Here are a few comments: 1. There was no mention about all of the stone steps leading down to the front door. We had 2 family members with leg & knee problems. 2. My sister-in-law and I wonder what your cleaning service actually does other than wash towels, washcloths, and sheets (and put them back on). We empty all trash, sweep floors, start dishwasher, wipe down counters, clean out refrigerator, take out all garbage and recyclables, etc. We left the house cleaner than when we came! Reminder to your cleaners- dust all rooms including bedrooms, family room and kitchen. Other than these two things, it’s a beautiful house with beautiful views!

We note in our listing description that there are steps from the parking area to the house and we also have a photograph showing the parking area in relation to the house, we are unsure of why this guest was “surprised”.
We also do not require our guests to do all of the list of “cleaning” tasks that this guest notes—we do have check out instructions ( take out the trash, start the dishwasher, lock the doors), however we do not require guests to clean the house before they depart
This was a great property for a relaxing weekend on Keuka Lake. The only small issue was parking, as there were only 3 spaces to park. We had a larger group with us that was traveling from different locations, so we ended up having more cars than we had room for at the property. With the town's restrictions on street parking, we ended up having to drop some cars off at a lot closer into town at the advisement of the property manager. It was too far to walk, so we had to occasionally take trips to drop people off/pick them up from the lot. It actually worked pretty well once we figured out where the lot was, it was just not ideal if you are having a lot of people coming from different places. Other than that, everything was great. The house had many amenities and plenty of comfortable places to sleep for a group of 9.
Our family of 4 found this house for 3 nights & it worked perfectly for our road trip from West Michigan. We had plenty of space, the view was amazing, and the house was clean. The kids loved fishing off the dock, using the paddle board & kayak, and having bonfires in the evenings. We rented a boat and spent 2 days fishing the lake. This was the perfect spot for a quiet family vacation.
