Fun for the whole family with a game of cards, a summer BBQ on the deck surrounded by pines, or watching the winter snow fall from the soaring windows of the spacious great room. Central heating, woodstove, WiFi, on-site laundry... and Fido is welcome, too!

Bedrooms: Gann Clan is a 2-level home that accommodates 10 guests in 2 bedrooms and a loft: the first with a Queen bed, the second with a Queen bed, and the loft with a Queen bed and 4 Twin beds. This home has two full bathrooms.

Everything was wonderful. When they were little, we would bring our kids up to one of these cabins every year. Now my kids re bringing their kids. It was just an amazing time...Family is so important.

Nice and cozy cabin

We enjoyed the house, we cooked, BBQ, watch some movies, play cards, place is close to bear valley, place is awesome, we will definitely will return.

Beutifully decorated cabin, great location and clean

This cabin was perfect for two Grandmas and a Family of 4 (kids 10 & 13). It was incredibly clean, well stocked, and beautifully decorated. It was also an excellent location to the rec areas. We highly recommend and will definitely come back.

The only disappointing thing about this property is that it is not available when we are returning over Labor Day weekend. Everything about this home is perfect.

Great cabin and great area for family getaway!

I took my teens and a couple of their friends here. The cabin looks just as the photos, was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking. The beds are comfortable. I really appreciated the rec center area - the pool is nice, but does get crowded, and the lake with swim docks was a hit with the teens. There are also tennis courts, games and lots of activities! Worth the guest fee. I would definitely stay here again!Management company was responsive, although took a little time to receive replies, but overall very good.

Nice Cabin in a convenient location

This cabin had everything you would need for a comfortable stay in Arnold. We loved Calaveras Big Trees State Park which was just up the road. Also had a fund day at Lake Alpine which was a little farther away. Nice to be able to bring our dogs

Overall we had a nice stay. Check in was smooth and we received a welcome pkg w keys/info. The place was good size for us and mostly reflected pics online. Nice sunlight and open layout. Some suggestions that wud have given it another star: nicer towels and upgraded to. Also there was no headboard on bed and pillows kept slipping. Wud be nice to have tv in Master bedroom. Big disappointment was there was no patio furniture out. While we realize it is Nov, the weather was nice enough to enjoy coffee or a drink outside so it was a bummer there was nowhere to sit or lounge on deck. Maybe mention that it in description. Overall a pleasant stay

Gann House

Place is too hot in summer, no access to pool without a cost, not enough shade on deck, so that you can sit outside when the sun is on the deck.

We provide tips and tricks in our check- packet on how to keep the cabin cool without air conditioning. Those could be helpful if you are staying in an un-airconditioned house next time. Also, we do have many free lakes and recreation activities in the area. Those can also be found in all Cedar Creek guest check-in packets. Great cabin in the woods!

Beautiful private getaway weekend

Spent a long weekend at this lovely cabin. Well stocked kitchen for cooking, and big open atmosphere making it ideal for family gatherings. Large deck great for star gazing at night.

We loved our stay in Arnold over Christmas!

The cabin is spacious with plenty of room for games at the card table or couching. The harvest dining room table seats 8 or 10 so it was great to have everyone together for a Christmas dinner. During the day we hiked at Big Trees State Park and played in the snow at Bear Valley Resort up the road. Overall a great place for a family getaway.

Great Getaway Cabin

This cabin was a great place for our family to spend Thanksgiving. The living/dining room had ample space for us to spread out. The kitchen was well stocked but was tiny, we just had to work in shifts. I felt the only real downside was the check in/out process. You have to go to the realty office to pick up/drop off keys. Add a keypad lock to the door or have a lock box with the key. Also, the wifi password was wrong.

Great Cabin!

Great accommodations for a family with teenagers. Upstairs was the perfect hang out spot for them. The house is close to everything. Kitchen was well stocked, house was clean, property management team was very responsive! Would stay here again.

Spacious yet cozy!

We loved lounging in the roomy, comfy living room watching movies. Equally roomy dining space, perfect for family board games. There could be some upgrades on the kitchen (cabinets a little musty) but hey, that's just cabin life I guess. Our beds were comfortable and we slept like babies every night.

Great Family Cabin!

My family just spent 2 weeks at the Gann Clann Cabin in the Blue Lake Springs neighborhood of Arnold. It was a great cabin for families- lots of great outdoor space, along with having all of the basic necessities needed to complete our summer vacation. The house provided access to the Blue Lake Springs Association, where we spent days lounging by the lake and the pools and was a great jumping off point to many other water ways in along the Stanislaus River. We enjoyed meals on the deck, a table inside that could seat everyone, and the loft that is perfect for kids. The first day we arrived, the breaker had been tripped prior to our arrival and there was no hot water. We called the Cedar Creek management and they responded (on a Sunday) within 2 hours! This is a great cabin and I couldn't recommend it more. We will certainly look at returning to this cabin for our Sierra Adventures in the future.

Great rental

I was scared when I saw the 1 star review after I'd already paid to rent it. Turns out there was no reason! It was a great home, great location and fully stocked with everything we needed. Don't know if the other reviewer was talking about the management company but they were great for us too. Would stay there again for sure!

the place was terrible with no heat or explanation on lack of linens

The place was terrible and dated. We arrived after hours at 8pm and obtained the keys from the rental property agency drop box for MLK weekend. When we arrived we discovered that the pilot was out and that there was no heat in the cabin. We called the agency repeatedly and never received a call back. We all huddled in one bed to keep warm through the night. We also discovered that the rental agency had not informed us about the need to provide linens and/or to pay for them to be provided - so the cabin had no towels, bed sheets etc. The next day these issues were resolved but it made the experience terrible and with no capacity to follow through in an emergency made us all agree that we will never book a cabin through this rental agency again. The cabin itself is severely dated and not worth the price. We have stayed in other cabins in Arnold and Murphys for the same price that are more contemporary
