The Sub-Zero Refrigerator and Freezer has so much room you’ll be able to stock it with fresh fruit and vegetables from our local Japanese New Monroe Farm Market which also has fresh sushi and juice bar. Cook and bake like a pro with our Viking double oven range. And there is a griddle underneath the cutting board! We also have a Viking dishwasher to keep everything sparkling.

Our insta-hot water heater means you’ll never have to worry about running out of hot water. Wash dishes, clothes, and take showers without having to wait a turn.

You also have complete control of your climate. We have two mini-splits in addition our regular heater so you can have it as cold or hot as you like it.

There is so much storage built into our home you won’t believe how easy it is to stay organized. There is ample space outdoors to stretch out and relax. To abide by our town laws the shortest term lease we can offer is 31 days. Our home is perfect for a couple or small family that is in-between houses. There is a roll-away twin bed in the closet that can be set up in the primary bedroom or the living room. We do not currently offer baby items. This vacation home is located in Monroe. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Harriman State Park and Schunnemunk State Park, while Museum Village and United States Military Academy are cultural highlights. Looking to enjoy an event or a game while in town? See what's going on at Goshen Historic Track, or consider a night out at Monteverde at Oldstone.

You are less than 30 minutes away from Legoland, world-class hikes, antique shopping, Warwick, etc. 1 hour drive to NYC. A gourmet kitchen. Fireside, enjoy our huge library or watch TV with our YouTubeTV subscription. High-speed internet and a dedicated workspace helps you stay caught up. Washer and dryer onsite, too. We are just four minutes away if you need anything.

A note on pets… we choose to allow pets at this time because when my husband and I were waiting for our house to close we had difficulty finding rentals that would allow pets. So far, our renters with pets have taken steps to protect furniture with blankets, etc. If you are traveling with a pet, rest assured we know how important they are to you. If you need any extra protective measures to accommodate your pet and care for our home we are happy to assist you. We want to continue to offer this amenity as long as possible.

My husband and I moved to the East coast recently. We love traveling and volunteering. Getting to know the New York area has been a wonderful experience. There is an abundance of hiking, antiquing, and exploring in the Hudson Valley and beyond and we are happy to share some of our favorite finds with you.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with the architecture of our home. Built in the 1960’s, it has some wonderful and unique features. Built-ins. Retro bathrooms. Custom furniture and more. The modern kitchen is a dream to cook in. We think this home would be a perfect long stay for a couple or a small family needing temporary housing.

What makes this property unique

We live just 4 minutes away and we are happy to assist you during your stay.
