The downstairs bedroom smelled like mildew and even after we left, the smell lingered on our clothes.

About the host
Hosted by Ed
Hi Guests! I discovered Killington and Pittsfield in 1986 working as a ski instructor. Since those legendary days, I’ve been creating inviting homes and unique experiences for my guests. I still ski (telemark) design and love the arts. Come as guests, leave as friends and return! I welcome you to the Tweed River House.
Why they chose this property
I wanted to be close to the action of Killington, yet but live in an authentic Vermont Town without the resort feel.
What makes this property unique
I love the privacy but with an in town location for gas and groceries. Heaven is back-country skiing or riding my mountain bike out the back door to the trailhead of the Green Mountain Trails. Grab a cool drink, chill and grill on the 40 foot deck with friends and family. Relax by the fire pit or on the screened in porch is bliss. Access to swimming, mountain biking, back country skiing, hiking, and X/C skiing is priceless. Dining on the screened in porch with mountain views is awesome! Coming home to a gorgeously decorated and furnished space makes the experience very special. Please come experience what I love to do here in Pittsfield. Best, Ed
