This cabin itself is a wonderful retreat! While the surrounding neighborhood isn't the most picturesque, the property itself is spotless and offers great amenities. You'll find Wi-Fi, streaming channels, and a cozy screened-in porch with a propane firepit – perfect for those chilly evenings. Plus, the secluded location provides breathtaking mountain and river views, and the stargazing is simply amazing. Just be aware that we did experience some insulation issues on a very cold last night of our stay. We had to really crank up the heaters and eventually retreated to the warmth of the bed.
They offer an optional hot tub for an additional fee, but it's worth noting a few things we experienced. It's a 110V plug-in model, meaning it's more accessible for the property managers, but for renters, it's less powerful than hard-wired hot tubs. Because of this, the heater can't run at the same time as the jets, leading to slower heat-up times and quicker heat loss during use. This definitely limited our hot tub use during our trip, so keep this in mind if you're considering it, especially when the outside temperature is below 50 degrees.
