About this property

The Victorian Oasis is the noble floor of a legitimate Victorian Home built in 1892. Although it is a completely remodeled place; thus, with all the conveniences of the modern lifestyle; we preserved each one of the original features of the almost 140 years-old flat for your enjoyment. We wanted to offer our guests the unique experience of inhabiting one of the legitimate “old-ladies” typical of the Bay Area. It is only 7 blocks away from Lake Merritt.

12 foot ceilings throughout, original Victorian built-ins and moldings. The living room, dining room, bedroom and bathroom are originals of the house; so they are all extremely spacious and luminous. The kitchen is a new addition; but very much in tune with the character of the old Victorian features.

All the furniture and accessories are hand-picked with interior designer eyes to make the best of the environment. The lighting changes throughout the day, each moment has its own magic. It is simply a place where you want to stay and will feel sorry to leave behind.

Beautiful place

Our host have spent a great deal of time making this old victornia a lovely place. The finishes, the bed, linens, the appliances were all so upscale and made you feel like you were in a special place

Francisco is a Cuban attorney who is now an aspiring interior designer after working in the legal field for over 30 years.

Angel has had an extensive practice as a therapist; now he works for Kaiser Foundation in different capacities. He is originally from Spain.
