About this property

Cottage on the lake: spa, sauna and private beach

This home offers 3 private cozy bedrooms and 1 bathroom equipped with a shower-tub combo. The main open-concept area features 2 living areas with plenty of seating for enjoying the lake view and cozy up to the fireplace. The spa is located in the sunroom which allows you to access the tub without stepping in snow! There is a mini-fridge located in the sunroom to keep your refreshment cold.
The well-water is drinkable.
In the winter, we strongly recommend travelling with an all-wheel-drive vehicle and winter tires as the cottage is located at the bottom of a hill. All vehicles are appropriate in the summertime.
There's also a propane BBQ available (propane included)!
Please note that, for security purposes, we have a camera pointing towards the parking lot. Please do not host illegal parties. No other areas have cameras.

The lake was beautiful clean and easy to access with great privacy. The spa sauna and hot tub was incredible and so relaxing. The hosts were so friendly and answered our questions quickly and instantly. Definitely winner and coming back again!

The cottage was beautiful, very clean, and situated on a lovely lake. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and sauna. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish, making everything easy and stress-free. We highly recommend this cottage and would happily stay here again!

Wonderful stay on Mother's day weekend

Great property and amazing location. Very clean lake right at the doorsteps. Super quiet at night and no light pollution. But truly, it's a private spa with barrel sauna, hot tab and a cold plunge in a lake. Rather scenic less than an hour drive from noisy Ottawa, and only a short drive from picturesque Wakefield and Chelsey villages. Hosts were very responsive and accommodating. No issues what so ever. I would highly recommend this place to anyone: from couples to larger families and groups. There is plenty of space for everyone.

Amazing Stay

My friends and I had a great stay at the Charming Lake House. Jaro (the host) was very responsive with any questions we had. The place was very clean, spacious and had a great cottage vibe. The hot tub was a great bonus. Would definitely recommend.

Great weekend!

Had a fantastic friends reunion weekend here and loved it. Jaro was a fantastic host and very responsive. Check in and check out were a breeze and the place was very comfy. Hot tub was a real bonus in the winter time, and the lake is gorgeous.

Cozy Little Cabin

Had a great stay and really enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace! It was soooo relaxing! The place was clean, the roads were perfectly plowed and it was very cozy for a winter stay. Would definitely recommend!

Loved our stay!

This was the perfect summer getaway for our family! The cottage was spacious enough for 4 adults and 2 kids, with lots of comfortable areas to hang out in. We had a blast boating and swimming all day in the lake. The rental came with everything we needed and the hosts were quick to answer questions. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Clean, safe family getaway

This is a cozy lake house tucked away with a lot of privacy but also easy access to a small grocery store and pizzeria. Our family of 5 slept comfortably and enjoyed use of the spa and paddleboard, canoe and kayak. The house is simple, clean and uncluttered, with everything we needed. Host was extremely responsive.
