Private entry with no shared spaces inside the apartment. This house is located within city limits. A moderate amount of city noise should be expected (trains, cars, neighbors, planes, etc.) Please be aware if you are a very light sleeper.



The Neighborhood:

Its "Great American Main Street" – East Carson Street, features 15 blocks of Victorian architecture and was named a National Historic District. Boutiques, restaurants, art galleries, theater and live music venues, are all within walking distance. You can also get a tattoo, dye your hair purple and hoist a yard, making for some of the best people-watching around!



Getting Around:

Free street parking is generally available however this is a high traffic residential neighborhood. As with any large city parking near the apartment is not guaranteed during peak demand times such as weekends and evenings. The neighborhood is highly walkable and public transportation extremely efficient for guests who plan on parking and exploring the city without their vehicle.

Weightlifting Nationals

The property was really nice. My group was coming from Florida, we were not used to coming into a home with portable ac units. We did have trouble finding the house when we arrived at the location. Thanks to a neighbor for helping us. The parking situation was horrendous. Definitely not enough parking for all the houses/apartments on the street/alleyway. Nick was very nice, but the only way to communicate was through the VRBO app and even then you could not contact him after a certain time. Our last night there it took us over an hour to find parking. We were at the convention center all day for our boys weightlifting competition and when we arrived back to the house you could not find parking. We parked at one point behind a disable vehicle and received a very nasty note from a neighbor who spit on our rental vehicle and then threatened to tow our car at 3:28 am if we did not move it. As a former NJ native, I have never dealt with such rudeness before. Nice property, but unless you plan to uber while you are there, dont move your vehicle when you park.
