Notes
- This cabin sits right on the pristine Mckenzie River and offers great river views from nearly every room. Open the windows and enjoy the soothing sound of the river. Knotty pine finish through-out -- not an inch of sheetrock anywhere -- douglas fir floors throughout the downstairs and both baths -- carpeted stairs and upstairs hall and bedroom. The extra large and fully enclosed screened-in porch offers riverside enjoyment with bug protection and comfort on quality deck furniture. Feel free to wander through the nearly 7 acres of common area, including the upper floral gardens, the lower grassy meadow and the 900 feet of Mckenzie River shoreline. Great fishing spots available on-site and many more all up and down the river -- ask Jonathan for some recommendations. The famous Mckenzie River Trail begins within a mile of the cabin and extends 26 miles to Clear Lake and Fish Lake. Terwilliger Hotsprings is within 20 minutes and Tokatee Golf Club is within 3 miles.

We're Jonathan and Lisa Mahody, dba, RiverOceanViews Management. We live directly across the river from The Log Cabin Inn and are honored to manage this beautiful and special cabin. Here are our cleaning protocols: 1.We wear disposable gloves when cleaning and disinfecting surfaces. Gloves are discarded after each cleaning. If reusable gloves are used, those gloves are only used for cleaning and disinfection of surfaces. 2.We clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces in household common areas (e.g. tables, hard-backed chairs, doorknobs, light switches, remotes, handles, desks, toilets, sinks) between each renter. 3.We use the following disinfectants for cleaning the cabin; diluted household bleach solutions, alcohol solutions with at least 70% alcohol, and most common EPA-registered household disinfectants. 4.We clean the soft (porous) surfaces such as carpeted floor, rugs, and drapes, remove visible contamination if present and clean with appropriate cleaners indicated for use on these surfaces. 5.We launder items as appropriate in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. We wash towels, sheets and bedspreads with the warmest appropriate water setting (hot water) for the items and dry them completely. 6.We wear disposable gloves when handling dirty laundry and then discard after each use.

Why Jonathan and Lisa Mahody chose McKenzie Bridge
This location is the closest to the river of all the cabins in the community. Enjoy the extra large screened-in porch facing the river -- you may never want to leave. This location is just 20 minutes from Clear Lake and Sahalie Falls, Just 20 minutes from Proxy Falls and the lava flows of Belknap Crater. 20 minutes from Terwilliger Hotsprings and Cougar Reservoir. 3 minutes from Tokatee and the local store. soak in the hot pool of Belknap Springs within 6 miles. The famous Mckenzie River Trail and the incredible Blue Pool are favorite hikes, but don't forget the Castle Rock, Horse Pasture and the world famous Pacific Crest Trail located within minutes of the cabin. Wonderful fishing opportunities, including fish viewing. There is a fish ladder at Leaburg with a large state run hatchery and just below Trailbridge Reservoir, there is a spawning channel for salmon and steelhead spawning.
What makes this Cabin unique
The intimacy with the river and the exit door off the huge screened-in porch make this the most unique cabin on the property. The proximity to local sites and activities makes this the best over-all location in the Upper Mckenzie River Valley. Located half-way between Eugene and Bend makes this a great vacation base from which you can see the rest of the state -- just a few hours to the Oregon Coast or Central Oregon and literally an hour from the University of Oregon. Some people take day trips to Crater Lake from the cabin. Some people never leave the screened in porch. What's your style? Either way, this cabin works for you.
