Owners Description / Year Purchased: 2007 I am a retired aviation executive , Spouse is an artist creating and painting scenes, characters and landscapes. We fell in love with the island the first time we landed on Juliana airport 24 years ago. After many landings and family vacations in St Maarten, we decided to buy that property in 2007. We loved Point Pirouette for our children who could practise water-skiing right in front of the villa, off the dock. Now we like to walk to the golf course in the early morning or ride a motor boat to islands and beaches. We want everybody to enjoy our villa as much as we enjoy it, and like to contribute to make their stay on the island an unforgettable souvenir.

Why they chose this property

We choose to buy in St Maarten : because of the sweet Caribbean climate and also because of the mix of cultures. We also feel like we are in North America as well as in the Caribbean, as we can find in the numerous products from all over the world, Asia, India, China, Africa, Europe, USA. We enjoy so much folklore, carnaval, and multi-culture events.

What makes this property unique

This property is a no brainer for us, while everybody can swim either in the pool or freely in the lagoon off the dock or go water skiing or boating or fishing. I love to relax with a good book by the pool. No need to go here and there, take the kids to this beach and drive to get to the water. At night we are not far from night life, clubs, bars, restaurants and everybody can have fun while being 10 minutes away from home.
