Wonderful stay.

Alice was a great host and communicated well. The location was great with wonderful food spots on the block. Short walk to the tube. My partner and I would stay again.

Great

Decent location, good communication with property manager and plenty of choice for food, bars and shops along with the park near the property. Only complaint i would have is the shower, as there is no hot water supply to the flat, so you have to rely on poor water pressure from the hot water supply units situated near every sink and shower.

Studio just north of Hyde Park, London

Nice studio flat in London with easy access to Paddington Station and local transit. Made getting to all the London attractions easy and no need for a car. A couple minute walk to Hyde and Kensington Parks for walks and picnics was great. Flat had everything we needed. Alice was fast to reply with suggestions and to answer any questions we had.

Disappointed and stressed

We have been waiting for compensation in the form of a refund on this unit for over two months now, since cancelling the reservation. Our story on this experience: Retrieving the key to the property was quite difficult, since it was in a lockbox tied to a fence fronting townhouses at the given address, but these details were not explained. Upon inquery, a neighbor pointed this out after we randomly knocked on some residents’ door. When we arrived at the unit, it looked as if the former guest was still residing there or had just left. Bedding jumbled as if just pushed aside, empty cans, bottles, and food wrappers scattered about. A full trash bag left on the floor. Dirty dishes in the sink. Food in the refrigerator. Bathroom unclean, towels askew and sink dirty. The owners no longer live in London, so it was difficult to contact them directly. Vrbo customer service connected us via a three-way link, and they promised to refund our money after we refused occupancy based on the room’s poor condition. E-mail confirmation of this settlement was received after the call, but we have not received anything from either Vrbo or the owners as of today 11/29/2023.

First time in London

I have nothing to compare this to. It was small but efficient. The washer/dryer thing really worked! I was a skeptic. The location to mass transit and to Beautiful Hyde park was perfect. Cute quiet street. That said, maybe the bed pillows could be better.

Logement très bien placé et fonctionnel

Gîte parfaitement desservi par de nombreux bus et métro pour naviguer dans Londres. Le logement est petit mais parfaitement fonctionnel. A Noter une petite inquiétude car Alice n’avait pas précisé qu’elle donne le code de la boîte à clé la veille. A noter aussi un dysfonctionnement de cette boîte pour laisser la clé au départ. Nous avions un autre contact d’un ami Alice qui - lui - a été très réactif et qui nous a donné une solution.

Location superbe et gérante très attentive !

Avant notre arrivé, Alice (la gérante) nous a transmis toutes les informations utiles. Suite à un imprévu dans la location, Alice nous a transféré dans une location avec les mêmes caractéristiques situé dans le même immeuble que l'appartement de base. Pour nous dédommager Alice s'est arrangé pour nous organiser plus de temps pour les horaires d'arrivée et de départ. L'immeuble est sécurisé avec un ascenseur. Alice est très attentive à nos besoins qui on été solutionné dans la journée même. Rien à dire sur la propreté à part que l'appartement était nickel. Très bien équipé, pratique et très bien situé, je reviendrai sans hésiter dans cette location. Merci beaucoup Alice et à très vite je l'espère.
