We would stay here again in a heartbeat if in the area! The house was perfectly described if not better. The hosts were very responsive and helpful from the start by getting back to me with any questions. It had everything we needed and was within walking distance to nearby shops, resturants, and the beach! Super safe location.The backyard with the pool and fire pit was the perfect oasis to hang out after being out all day.I cannot reccomend enough!

Traveling with in-laws!

This house was fantastic! We had bedrooms on both the first and second floors, which was perfect. The first-floor bedroom was ideal for my elderly in-laws, while my wife and I enjoyed privacy upstairs. The home is beautifully furnished and thoughtfully equipped. We especially loved the turntables and vinyl records!

Family vacation

The process was easy! Melissa and Zev were easy to communicate with and accommodating. The property was beautiful. The neighborhood peaceful. We appreciated the cleanliness of the home. I would definitely use Melissa and Zev again and hope to be able to visit this property in the future.

Our stay at this charming Long Beach retreat was exactly what we needed for a weekend of marathon prep and relaxation. We chose a VRBO over a hotel to give everyone their own space, and we're so glad we did. The property has a unique, historical charm but with all the modern upgrades you could ask for.The backyard was a true oasis—romantic and shaded, with a lovely pool and plenty of trees. The adorable and inviting coffee bar was a great touch, and the kitchen and bathrooms were well-equipped with everything we needed.But the real highlight for everyone was the amazing sleep we all got. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the bedding was absolutely amazing. It was the perfect pre-race rest for our two runners!If our son runs the Long Beach marathon again next year, we will definitely be booking this property again. Highly recommend!

Dream home away from home

A short and convenient drive from Long Beach airport is a first plus. This beautiful home is also located on a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. It’s tugged away from the traffic but only short walks to the beach and cute restaurants close by. A short drive to vibrant dinning scene in Belmont shore and shopping scene. In sum it’s a Perfect location. This home away from home is spectacularly Clean! All the bed rooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean. The kitchen is roomy and opened. Everything about this house is lovely and wonderful. It’s sunny and cheery. This house exceeds our high expectations. I can go on and on.. Zev and Mellisa are extremely helpful. Not worth the price

After a 3 week work trip, my girlfriend and I wanted to find a nice place to relax to finish out our trip. The pictures of the pool hooked us. The house itself was old but cute. The kitchen had all the items needed for cooking, which we always appreciate. Fairly clean rooms and bathrooms aside from the webs in the windows. Definitely spacious if you are traveling with several people. Unfortunately, the pool was by far the most disappointing. It was broken for our entire visit. The owner suggested we could still swim in it, it just wouldn't be heated. The temperature was below 70 so definitely not swimmable without a wetsuit. We expressed to the owner that the pool was the main reason for our stay there. We were met with zero sense of urgency to fix it, and several excuses. As long time pool owners ourselves we knew we were being given the runaround. The ad claims there is a beautiful waterfall along with a clean pool. Very dirty pool and the waterfall was bone dry and looked as though it hadn't been used in quite some time. My girlfriend was laying out by the unusable pool when lawn guys showed up and came right into the backyard with zero warning from the owners. On our last day tree trimmers showed up at 8am and started using their chainsaw in front of the front door while we were trying to load up our car to leave. We tried to be understanding of unforeseen circumstances, however this property is too overpriced to look past our experience. Mediocre stay at best.
