Hurricane Helene Update--
Spring Creek Farmhouse is Open!!
Discounts available to Helene volunteers and friends and family.
Power, internet, hot tub, and creature comforts in the home are restored and the home is fully operational!
Hot Springs downtown experienced flooding, and the main downtown section and Hot Springs Resort and Spa are in various stages of cleanup and repair. Each of these businesses are closed.
The businesses that are open in town include Sara Jo’s Gas Station, Smoky Mountain Diner, Dollar General, and a couple of beverage/small grocery stores. They would love your business.
Many trails are accessible around the area, and Hot Springs is a central location for adventures in Western North Carolina, East Tennessee, and the Smokey Mountains National Park. Nearby attractions are the Biltmore Estate, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and more.
All major roads into and out of Hot Springs are accessible and safe.
We would love you to be our guest. This is such a beautiful and welcoming property to retreat to and enjoy the mountains in any season. Please contact us with any questions you may have.

Tour the property:
Kitchen- Light and airy with plenty of dishware and cooking supplies, 6 Burner Thor stove/oven, dishwasher, farmhouse sink, kitchen island, and small breakfast table. There is a large pantry in the kitchen that has extra kitchen items, and room for you to put your groceries away.
Mud-room- Second full refrigerator, full freezer, ice maker, and room to take off your shoes, hang your coats, and store extra supplies. There is a washer and dryer in this space for our guest to use
Dining room- Long, wooden table with seating for up to 10 people and gas fireplace. Lovely place to entertain.
Front Parlor- Gas fireplace and a great place to gather or read or take a nap.
Living room- Full of cozy seating and large TV and woodstove, this room is perfect for watching a game or a movie.
Downstairs bedroom- Queen-sized bed. Next to the bathroom downstairs.
Upstairs bedrooms- 4 bedrooms- 3 of which have King beds and TV's; 1 bedroom with a bunk bed and trundle.
Third Floor Bedroom - This area has been recently added for the first time in the home's history. We finished out this space in the early summer of 2024. There are 2 full size beds, two twin beds, and a convertible couch that can be reclined to sleep on. It includes a den area with seating and TV. This allows guest to spread out between the downstairs and upstairs dens! Parents, think kid and teenager hangout! Do inquire if you are interested in including this space while you are here.
The home includes many of the basic things you will need while visiting, including all linens, towels, dish soap, dishwasher soap, trash bags, paper towels, and toilet paper. If you forget any essentials at home or need to replenish anything during your stay, there is a Dollar General just down the road in Hot Springs and a few other small shops that are open daily and convenient to the property.
Hot Springs is a great destination in all seasons! The weather can be mild compared to higher mountains and roads are tended in the wintertime.
Summer is a wonderful season to enjoy many things to do outside, including rafting and tubing and venturing up to Max Patch Bald. The pace is slow and easy around town, and Hot Springs is also a great central location for day trips to Asheville, Smoky Mountain National Park, Gatlinburg, Waynesville, and many more adventurous locations.
Spring sees beautiful mountain wildflowers and hikers traveling through on the Appalachian Trail. The weather can go from 80-degree days to a dusting of snow and anywhere in between.
Fall never disappoints with endless potentials to see the trees changing at different elevations and finishing your day with a fire and soak in the hot tub.
A local management company is available to assist you if you need anything during your stay.
We are happy to answer any questions you may have about the home and area, and we hope you will consider Spring Creek Farmhouse for your vacation!

Why they chose this property
Hot Springs is such a great little town, and this house sits just on the edge of town limits. It is easy to walk to restaurants and shops, it is just a short jaunt to the Appalachian Trail, and is very close to the French Broad River. These are all activities that our family really enjoys participating in as often as possible.
What makes this property unique
When we purchased this property we did it with every intention that our family of 5, plus our extended family would have a place for all of us to come together. We enjoy the house as often as possible, but LOVE to share this space with other families and friends to have a place that is great for them to come and make memories. There is so much to offer and so much to do for everyone to enjoy themselves--the creek, the huge yard for playing games, porches to enjoy meals together, the hot tub and firepit. We think this is why this place is so special. It is a home. One that is large enough for people to gather and make memories for a lifetime.
