About this property

MUST SEE! COZY LOG CABIN WITH SAUNA & HOT TUB!

ICE FISHING/SNOWMOBILERS PARADISE! Huge 4.5 acre retreat on channel to Placid Lake. Space for everyone to relax! Very unique property with a large main cabin and 4 smaller cabins. Sleeps 12 until May. Sleeps 20 in summer. Close to Nisswa, Brainerd, Mt. Ski Gull, Gull Lake, Maddens, Craguns, Cuyuna State Park, Brainerd International Racetrack and much more. The property lets you take advantage of many area activities (fish, ski, bike, hike, shop, golf etc.). Access snowmobile trails close by.
The space
No matter the season, the location of this home will always provide entertainment.

There are 5 total Cabins on the property. Only 2 are open until May. The main Cabin can easily sleep 10. Cabin #2 is 1 br (queen) 1 ba and has a full kitchen and living room. The saloon will also be open for use. In the saloon, there is a bar equipped with mini fridge, pizza oven, dart board, poker table, other games, and smart tv. Do not use bathroom in Saloon (Winterized until May)

During summer months all of the cabins are open and the property can sleep up to 20!

High Speed Wi-Fi, Smart TVs, Dart Board, Poker Table, Gas Grill, Washer/Dryer.
There are plenty of board games, cards, and puzzles for everyone to enjoy!

The property offers privacy and fun! There's so much to do and we love hosting all groups. Whether you're looking for a family reunion, friends getaway, bachelor/bachelorette party, all are welcome. But, with that being said, we LOVE our home away from home so we ask that you please respect our space and any damage or missing items will be charged accordingly.

Fantastic Cabin

My husband and I stayed here with 6 of our friends and had a great time. Plenty of space for all of us and had everything we needed. It was a nice quiet property. We would definitely come back and stay again and are looking at booking for next February already.

Excellent Vacation Place!

This place has everything needed for a wonderful stay. The main house is beautiful, with plenty of room for cooking for ten people. The bedrooms are comfortable and inviting. The "Talking Fish Saloon" is perfect for relaxing with family and friends. We'll be back!

Great Getaway

The property was just as advertised. Quick clear communication. Easy check-in / check-out process. Plenty of options to keep a family entertained & busy. Our kids are already talking about returning in the summer so that we can enjoy the lake!

Great family experience!

We had a wonderful time celebrating our Dad's 90th birthday. Family came from all over. Plenty of beds and bathrooms with a huge kitchen and dining area. Multiple living spaces made it comfortable for everyone to hang out together. I heard other family members say they would be interested in booking another stay at this location in the future. Everyone enjoyed their stay!

The perfect cabin getaway for our family!!

Our family of 8 had the best time at Mitchell's property! It fit all of us and 3 dogs perfectly! It was well equipped with everything we needed and plenty of spaces to hangout, play games, and eat meals all together. Mitchell was a great host and very responsive to all my questions. We are already talking about when to come back and for a longer period! Thank you, Mitchell!

Your own resort

Wonderful! We were there for a family reunion. The main house was large enough to accommodate our large group. The cabins located on the property were so convenient for small families who needed their own space. Nice piece of land to play frisbee, catch, basketball and yard games. And there is a fire pit. Very comfortable. I highly recommend it for groups.
