The house was very clean and the furnishings were comfortable. Star gazing off the deck was one of our highlights of staying at the property. Unfortunately the garage was too warm to use the ping pong table but we enjoyed watching TV as a family.
This place was as advertised. Loved seeing the wildlife on the property! Owner was really responsive when we had issues with the coffee maker.l and made sure we were taken care of.
My husband & I had a great stay here while we visited yosemite for the first time. The house is spacious & quite. We had deer & wild turkey in the yard almost every day. The driveway was a little hard to figure out at first but once you're at the house it makes sense. The only negative would be the few mouse tirds we found on some pans but overall the house was clean.
Overall a great place to stay if you plan on visiting Yosemite. The location is beautiful and it’s so quiet that you can hear a pin drop. The house itself is well-equipped from the kitchen to the bathrooms. My sister and I took on the Half Dome day hike successfully and it helped a lot knowing that we could return here to recover comfortably. The host, Andrew, was also very attentive and facilitated an easy checkin/ checkout. Our next Yosemite adventure will be a backpacking trip but if I find my self in need of a place to stay this one is at the top of my list without a doubt.
Everything was awesome. Very cute and quite house. We enjoysedvery much. Host wasvery helpful and always available. It wasan amazing stay. Thank you so much. ❤️
This was a great base camp for us and our family of five for going to Yosemite. It’s about an hour to an hour and a half drive to the valley from this house. It was fully stocked with everything we needed, and the kids had a blast playing in the game room. I highly recommend this day for groups or families. You will have a wonderful time.
The place was clean and had a beautiful view from the deck. It was a nice stay except the water from the faucets, toilets, and showers shot out and sounded like fireworks or monsters! Wear shoes if you walk up the stairs in the house because most steps are missing wood on the edges and are sharp! Finally, we were excited to use the fireplace but there were no directions. I emailed the owner about it but received no response back about it. For the high price, it was not comparable whatsoever to other places we have stayed.
My family and I had an amazing stay in Andrew’s home. We got to disconnect from the everyday busy city life and enjoy quality time as a family. One of the days we got to visit and explore Yosemite Park. It was breathtaking for our first visit. We also got to check out the local shops in Mariposa. Andrew was a great host and we enjoyed all the amenities he offered. My family enjoyed the game room very much! It was their favorite! I highly would recommend Andrew’s home if you’re looking for a nice getaway and like to explore new things!
This listing was as advertised , The location is 30/35 min from the south entrance to the park , same to the Arch rock entrance if you choose that one. I would suggest stopping at the grocery store in Mariposa or Oakhurst on your way up to the house, its remote, very quiet and a very pretty view off of the back deck but its a 25 min one way trip to run to the store so stop on the way in. All the amenities you will need for a relaxing week at Yosemite
Sehr grosszügiges Haus mit wunderbarer Terrasse. Sauber und mit allem eingerichtet, was man benötigt. Wunderbar!
