Located at Palm Island Resort on Florida’s Southwest Gulf Coast. No bridges or causeways to the island exist, which ensures a relaxed, tropical vacation setting.
The island resort encompasses a two-mile portion of private, pristine beaches on the northern end of Palm Island.
Guests travel to the island via car ferry and park their car in our island parking area. Transportation is provided by our bell staff and golf carts are also available for rent for registered guests.
Enjoy access to one of the 5 heated pools, plus hot tub and gas BBQ grills.
Tennis courts available for play and always complimentary.
Our recreation center, Coconuts, offers a variety of rentals to include golf carts, bicycles, kayaks and beach umbrellas.
A full service concierge can also arrange for everything from massages to fishing charters.

Had a small issue with the upstairs A/C unit but the maintenance team was there in minutes and solved the problem very quickly with a smile.

I rented 2 Villas for my 3 grown children and 7 grandchildren. It was the perfect getaway for all of us. We enjoyed being right on the beach with easy access to beach chairs. Touring the island on the golf carts was a joy for all of us. The wildlife was incredible; turtles, osprey, pelicans, and dolphins were seen almost daily! We will definately be back!

Plenty of room for our party of 8...each couple had a king bedroom and bath on the main level, and the kids were up in the loft bedroom - which is so much bigger than it looks! So nice they had their own bathroom up there. Screened in lanai was great. Great location right by the pool and ocean. Would highly recommend.

The unit is the perfect size, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, 2 balconies, dining room and a gorgeous view of the waves rolling in. We take turns cooking all weekend, playing games and reconnecting without outside interruptions. We cannot say enough how much we look forward to this getaway each year!!

WHEN WE COMPLAINED ABOUT THE AWFUL "BUTTER" OUR SERVER BROUGHT US A SECOND ROUND AND SHE DID NOT EVEN REALIZE MARGARINE IS NOT THE SAME AS BUTTER.

Driving around on the golf carts and spending time at the beach/pool is always a great time. The villa we stayed in needed a good dusting and vacuuming under the rugs. Additionally, there were some minor repairs that need be made: the master bathroom door gets stuck, some drawers on the dressers get stuck, light bulbs need to be changed, the door to the loft bedroom squeaks and has a large chunk missing on the bedroom side. Minor repairs and adjustments that didn’t affect our stay. We can’t wait to come back.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay in unit 1422 was one of the best times we’ve had over the past 20 years of coming to Palm Island. We had friends with us (two had been and for the other two, it was their first time) and we all agreed the condo was great. We really enjoyed the nice round table that seated all of us comfortably for meals and our card games! We spent time on the deck each morning enjoying the view and listening to the ocean. The walk to the beach was fairly short and we enjoyed time in the pool. The only recommendation would be to check the bathtub in the master bedroom. It isn’t draining properly. Other than that, it was a really nice experience and we plan on booking the unit next year!

NOT a good First Impression

From their logo to the pictures on the internet we thought for sure we chose the right place for some much needed R&R. The most positive thing about our trip was the weather,beautiful sunsets and starry nights. The Palm Island resort staff either dont like working there or need some R&R themselves.--When we made our reservations we were told that we could come early and there would be a good chance of our room being ready early, so we got there around 12:45 and it ended up not being ready until after 5pm!. I was told nothing else was available and it wasnt until several frustrating phone calls that they offered us a complimentary meal while we waited longer.--Our villa was nice but was still DIRTY when we finally got into it (hair balls and left over food pieces on the floors and couch,drinking glasses with lipstick marks on them) I ended up vaccuuming and cleaning ALL of the dishes before we even unpacked.--At 7:50am the next morning we were awoken to the loud noise of a pressure washer! The pool patio furniture was being cleaned,but they didnt clean the pool sides that were all grimey and gray.--OVERALL the resort staff is NOT welcoming or friendly--they dont smile or act like they enjoy what they do (except for front desk staff and one very pleasant African American man who welcomes you when you park your car in the lot.)Even as something as simple as waving back when you pass by them in your golf cart. --We ended up picking up trash on the beach when we noticed it was still there from the day before Resort staff could definitely use some customer service lessons to make their guests feel like they are welcomed and wanted back.

The recovery from the hurricane was wonderful to see and hte beach itslef was in terrific shape. We thoroughly enjoyed our time. We would make a few suggestions:Add additinoal guideines to the pool areas regarding children unattended, playing music, and monopolizing shade umbrellas. There were few guests and should have been plenty of space and quiet, but some guests took over the common spaces as their own.

The cabinets are a little dated but we are on vacation so who cares. The unit was clean and the location is so close to the beach. The view from the back porch is incredible. Very roomy place! The throw rugs and curtains could be replaced but still not a big deal. Overall a great weekend !
