The side entrance is right off the parking area and leads to the eat-in kitchen. This space provides dining for 6 with a large window giving views of the woods on our homestead. The open concept kitchen offers ample counter space and all the essentials to prepare a home cooked meal. Highlights include:
❊Stainless steel appliances!
❊Coffee maker w/coffee, creamer, sugar provided!
❊Large windows for natural light and views of nature!
❊Fully stocked with cookware!
❊Oil/salt/pepper/basic spices provided!
The far end of the kitchen includes serving windows that open to the dining room, making passing food and drink fun and easy. The formal dining room comes with seating for in a large space with nautical artwork and décor. Our home’s open concept continues through this space and leads to the living room – one of our favorite spots in the house!
The living room invites you into a warm and cozy area with room for 8+ in front of a large architectural fire place. Enjoy intimate conversation in this warm space or a movie on the 65” Roku TV (bring your own login and watch any app!). Living room highlights include:
❊Open-beamed ceiling!
❊Comfy plush couches and chairs!
❊Views of the wooded surrounding property!
❊Fun, yet refined nautical theme!
At the back of the house you will enjoy sleeping in the large master bedroom with king bed. The nautical theme continues with an open-beamed ceiling and sailing décor and art. The bedroom also has a love seat that converts to a twin bed if needed.
The main bathroom provides a sanctuary for getting ready! The large double vanity gives ample space for two guests. You will also fall in love with our large walk-in custom tile shower with options for a rain style shower or hand-held shower head. We provide premium shower and bath products from eco-friendly and health conscious company Public Goods.
Also on the main level, the second bedroom comes with a queen bed, closet, and a fun little nook with books and artwork.
The second bathroom, also on the main floor, contains a washer and dryer (available for your use) and the same Public Goods products.
Just off from the dining room, a set of stairs leads to the second floor of our home. Up here you will find two bedrooms, one on each end of the house. The first upstairs bedroom contains a queen bed and two large night stands. The second upstairs bedroom, our most kid-friendly, has two twin beds in a space that feels like a fun sailing ship cabin.
Bedroom and Bathroom highlights include:
❊Premium Helix Moonlight Luxe mattress on master bed
❊Premium Helix Hospitality mattresses on all other beds
❊Eco-friendly and health conscious bath products from Public Goods
❊Fresh linens provided
❊Fun New England nautical theme throughout
There are two sets of Stairs that lead to the basement. One is off of the kitchen and the other is next to the front door. Upon entering our basement, you will find yourself in the ultimate indoor play space for kid and grownups alike!
Basement games include arcade style basketball, foosball, and a real arcade console! Children especially love the carpeted and raised alcove under the stairs which provides a fun ‘secret’ space for playing, reading, or lounging. Another large, 55” Roku TV is available here too.
At the other end of the basement, you will find a bar that gives our adult guests a fun place to gather and unwind.
In our backyard, accessible sliding door on the main level, you will find yourself immersed in another of our favorite spots – the pool deck! The pool, generally open memorial day to labor day (be sure to reach out and see if we’ve opened it early or kept it open late!), sits between the house and the woods beyond. Highlights of our outdoor space include:
❊Hot Tub with seating for 6+ (open year round!)
❊A variety of seating options for lounging or dining on plush outdoor furniture!
❊Options for sun or shade at anytime of day!
❊Diving board!
❊Pool house w/half bath, perfect for changing!
We are confident that you will enjoy staying at our home and all of the amenities that we offer We look forward to hosting you and your group!
