Take a moment to feel the ambiance of coming down the road to the quaint village of Oceanside, imagine the sight of a lovely chateau on the edge of the ocean. When you enter this beautiful home you will be surprised and delighted at the first glance of the light colors and windows which view the entire coastline in front of the home. You will then delight in unpacking in the spacious kitchen open to the dining and living areas all with the same lovely views. To complete your arrival unpack in one of the lovely three bedrooms, 2 with beauty rest black queen size mattresses and master with king size. Send the children or extra guest to one of four twin beds in the loft or south bedroom. Your master bedroom awaits with the same coastal view, private deck, attached en-suite Jacuzzi tub and shower. Sit back grab a glass of wine, complimentary bottle provided, and find your spot on the deck for the most beautiful sunsets on earth glowing over the three arch rocks. You will not be disappointed!

Awesome view, beautiful house, loved waking up and seeing the ocean! Kitchen was well stock (coffee, spices, even a bottle of wine!) everything you need and more. Beds were very comfortable. Switch on fireplace was nice on rainy, cool day Easy checkin and checkout. Would definitely recommend this place and would love to stay there again.

Memorable Family Time

Our family of five adults stayed for five nights. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were very comfortable and the outdoor space was nice. The ocean and mountain view from Netarts to Oceanside was beautiful. Beach access with parking is a few blocks away. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful home

My family came to stay for the week. The location was beautiful with easy beach access not too far away. The house was great. While on the main road, it didn’t really bother us and we enjoyed sitting out on the new patio and enjoying the views. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Zero complaints about this home. I just wish the town had a grocery store and/or more gift shops.

By far the best place I’ve ever been

The views from this house are amazing. While the inside is nice, the outside is where you’ll want to be. We enjoyed the local restaurant Rosanna’s and they have the best crab cakes ever. We did long walks on the beanch and at night made fires on the beach. We still can get over the views from this house and it will be a yearly trip for us going forward.

Felt like being a guest in someone's beautiful home!

You can tell by the pictures that the home and location are stunning. What you won't be able to see in pictures is that it is obvious that this is a someone's vacation home that they are sharing with you, and because of that you truly feel like a guest. The beds are super comfortable and if there is something you are looking for in the kitchen that you can't find, you need to question your life choices. We truly enjoyed our time there!

Great family house with lovely beach views

We were a bit surprised by the access to the beach. It is fine for strong, young people but a little tough for old, stiff people. We managed fine but wonder if we’d had an older person with us how it would have gone. Our infant made it down with a good carrier.

Gorgeous view

Shelly was very accommodating, communicative & available. This home accommodated the 9 of us beautifully. With the loft we needed to put the younger ones to bed in the bedrooms & later move to the twin beds loft. Beautiful home, gorgeous view & kitchen nicely stocked. Trail a bit steep but not far to get to & loved being close to the beach. Would rent again!!!

Great Place In Oceanside

Very impressive from the street. Great for two couples, "iffy" for three if you need to use the loft for sleeping area. The house has an open floor plan which eliminates privacy for loft users. Does not have working headphones for use with the entertainment system. Use of headphones are pretty much mandatory for watching tv late into the evening. Sound carries up to the loft. Lacked instructions for use of washing machine, dishwasher, etc. Access to beach is about a 5 or 6-minute walk to Oceanside Park when stairs offer easy access. Trail to the left of the house (about 200 feet) is very difficult if you are carrying fishing equipment, chairs, etc. Top-shelf appliances! Great kitchen and family room area. Don't know how the views could be better. The condensation from dew does make the large glass windows and outdoor walkway glass panels appear to be dirty. Be patient as the sun clears them up (or use the squeegee located in the garage). Outstanding and unique patio area which is part of the driveway. Patio has great furniture and was our favorite amenity. Firebox table is spectacular! Hostess is terrific and communicates in a very timely manner. Bottom line is that it is a nice rental propery that we would use again in the future.

Best view in the area, well stocked kitchen and really comfortable beds. We had plenty of space and appreciated the binoculars and puzzles. We saw porpoise, surfers and fishing boats. It was beautiful and we loved hearing the ocean waves all night. Would stay here again.

Great Views. The beach access was difficult, but it was still a great rental. The house was stocked with all the basics you would expect and some additional items as well. Very nice home. We had a wide range of ages and other than moving a few decretive pieces out of reach of the baby, it was family friendly.

Fun and sunsets at an Oceanside oasis!

Beautiful bluff view of the Ocean and sunsets. Very nice property with views from every room. Beach trail on poperty is steep but easier public access alternatives within 4min walk. Excellent host with timely communication.

The Oregon owners Joyce and Maurice Lefore purchased the small blue cottage to the North of the home as a beach home for themselves. They soon fell in love with the area and Oregon Coast and purchased the property to the South and built the lovely Chateau by the Sea. In 2016 they moved to Washington State and decided to make the home into a vacation rental. The past three years the house has become a destination for vacationing beach families who enjoy the lovely Oregon coast.

Because the views are stunning and the location is directly on the beach. This property gives one a coastal experience of feeling immersed into beach life. You are feeling, sensing and watching an amazing experience in your ultimate comfort zone.
