We really really like this cute and very clean establishment! Occasionally we miss a microwave or toaster, but we get by!

We were pleased to host you for the third time. There is a microwave and toaster as well as almost every kitchen appliances or gadgets you can think of.
All the cabinets & drawers are labeled for ease. The House Manual that is in/ on the living room desk and the online listing.
Plus we’re always available to assist with these matters!

Mary was a delight to host & is welcome back every time! Any host can feel confident with Mary as a guest. Thanks again Mary for choosing the American Bungalow.
We love it overall, yet due to very cold weather, we noticed a significant draft from the air conditioners and front door needs resealing from cold air. Never noticed it in November on our visit, but this time we did. Simple fix we’re thinking! Thank You very much!

We hope you enjoyed the “ simple fix” & that the home was more up to your warmth standards 😊
The property was cute. The things that I had an issue with were:
1) The neighbors - there was a party of epic proportions with very loud music and tons of cars!
2) The dog next door is highly aggressive and backed incessantly.
3) I received a bill for 150.00 for leaving the property in “disarray”. The reasoning was that I left the screen door ajar and left a pot holder next to the grill. I keep an extremely clean home and the idea that the home was left in disarray was completely shocking!

Shocking is correct, Sarah I’m more than “ a little irritated” myself. Our security cameras surrounding the property which includes sound ensure there was No “ party of epic proportions, loud music or a ton of cars, or incessant dog barking .”
The bungalow has ample parking for two cars in the driveway. Both of your vehicles easily fit yet you chose to park one of your vehicles in the street, that also had Ample parking.
We do not allow dogs or pets on property. For several reasons. Service animals are the exception. Which I outlined to you when you inquired about bringing your sons “ service dog”. I did find it interesting that you stated the dog “ can be left at my mother’s.” Yet your son would be at my property for several days….
The dog next door that I informed you of does bark when a dog is in the bungalows yard. Your “ service dog” dog was in the yard , unattended at times. You failed to clean up the 8 piles of diarrhea as well as the additional piles of poop.
The Blackstone griddle you enjoyed cooking on twice was not cleaned only covered.
The back door was left unlocked.
The contract you agreed to outlines the house rules including all fees that will be charged if these rules are broken. The fees are as listed in the contract $50 for dirty grill & $100 for excess mess & disarray =$150.
I’m not surprised that you are contesting the fees considering you asked if I “wanted to be paid” for your final night’s reservation because you were leaving early. A reservation you asked me to extend btw.
I am disappointed though with the mistreatment of the property especially to go so far as to write an untrue review.
I am So glad that all of our correspondence is saved on VRBO, the homes security camera footage with audio is always recording & photos were obtained. All of which are dated & timed stamped.
All has been submitted and speaks for itself.
The American Bungalow is pristine, thoughtful, and very comfortable. Our staff works hard to ensure that the house is a home welcoming to every guest.
