Absolutely beautiful location. Waking up to the view of the ocean was wonderful. The pools and other amenities only added to this being a perfect vacation getaway. The owners helpful and easily available for any questions or needs. Definitely one to come back to on a future trip.

Great Place

Excellent communication with the property managers. Very helpful. Clean and tidy place. Beautiful view from the balcony. Close to pier park so you really don’t have to drive over. Staff was very helpful and amazing. All the facilities and amenities were a plus. All together had a great stay. Would stay here again!

The elevator situation is absolutely horrendous. I mean horrendous. 20-40 minute wait times for an elevator is absurd for how much it cost to stay here. The place is nice but the elevators alone make me not want to return unfortunately.

Great vacation condo.The cons: It does show a little more wear and tear than the photos show. Just small things. Also bring your muscles..the sliding door is a little tough to open.The pros: It was so clean! And so many towels which was really nice. The kitchen was great - super clean amd pretty much all you need (except for a pizza pan - although there is a pizza cutter). The TV in the living room is much larger than the photos show. The main bed was so comfortable. And the balcony was perfect. We had binoculars but even without them we could see dolphins, sting rays and turtles. And lastly, the management company is INCREDIBLE. They were in constant contact with us. I did let them know the kitchen ceiling light was slipping off slightly - no biggie at all - they had it repaired within a few hours.

Beautiful views!

Our overall stay was wonderful. There are a few minor things that I would like to mention. I had to wash the throw pillow covers as there were filthy as well as the rug under the coffee table. The shower curtain in the guest bathroom had mold on the bottom. But overall we were very pleased. We will be back next year.

Door key and wrist bend problems

The door lock stopped working after first opening, needed to wait hours outside. It was required to leave the wristbands in the room and had problems at checkout, needed to stay to clarify this or facing charges of 100 for each

Bad elevators !

Checking in and out is horrible, everyone all at once with one slow elevator in parking deck, you gotta check out a cart using your DL, standing waiting on elevator 10-20 minutes in what smells like a garbage dump, Beach is nasty with broken shells everywhere, as well as packed with people all in one condensed spot. If I sound like a complainer I’m not , I never write reviews but this place was so bad I had to, and every one we spoke to Said the same thing, “Tidewater is poorly designed ,and never coming back”

A few minor issues were looked after once reported. It was clean and had a great view. The refrigerator needs to be smaller preferably with a left swinging door, a nice one but too close to the stove to open fully. This makes it a little hard for older people to access the back cupboards. Great area with attractions beside the beach, near restaurants and Pier Park area. Shopping and parks nearby.

Week at Tidewater

My room was filthy. The door to the balcony wouldn't open. I sent pictures to management in response to an email of welcome, and request for information on how to improve our stay. No response. My sister's room had no hot water. Maintenance came but couldn't get permission to make repairs. The sun, sand, and restaurants were wonderful, as usual. Tidewater was terrible.

Needs updating and better cleaning service

Apparently the bunk beds had not been changed as we found cheerios in the beds. We decided to use the pullout mattress in the couch and when we opened it there was a huge yellow pee stain on the mattress and mattress pad. The rug in living room was nasty and frayed and all the mattresses need replacing as they are very old spring style mattresses. The Ice maker also did not work on the fridge. Such a great location but condo needs some serious love.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very very disappointed in the property. Upon entry it smelled dirty like dirty socks. I was appalled at how dirty the floors were, how filthy the upholstered furniture was and how unfit the mattresses were on both the twin beds. My sister couldn’t bear to sleep on the mattress as the springs were poking all the way out. This may be ok for college kids partying all night but for mature women this was unacceptable. Their carpet should be thrown in the dumpster and at a minimum the upholstered furniture needs to be cleaned. We were afraid to sit on it. The stains were unsettling, just gross. I have pictures to support everything I have shared. The curtains are torn and were falling down. We hung them back up just to keep it from looking so bad. If there was a way to upload pictures I would love to. My sisters and I were very disappointed and if we had the option, would have relocated. To validate just how dirty the floor was, I bought brand new slippers for this trip and ONLY walked around inside the property and my slippers were FILTHY!!!!! We put blankets on the couch to even feel safe sitting on it. I could go on and on, but what is the point, I would not ever stay here again.

Amazing views!

The living area and bedroom access the balcony through glass doors. You literally see the ocean from everywhere in the condo except the second bath. I slept with the bedroom door partially open to enjoy the ocean breeze and the sound of the waves. Very relaxing! The furniture is comfortable and positioned well to relax and look at the ocean. Condo is nicely decorated and cheery. Kitchenware is plentiful, and while not top quality, adequate enough to prepare meals.

Fantastic rental on the beach! The 23rd floor views are phenomenal, and balcony is very large. Very quiet location - able to hear the waves crashing on the beach, but no traffic or other annoying noises. This unit was very clean and spacious. Everything was better than expected. Every amenity was provided. Owner provided lots of helpful information prior to my arrival, and was very responsive. I would definitely stay again.

Beautiful views

The views were amazing from this condo. The location is wonderful. The condo needed some updating. The pictures of the condo in VRBO are accurate with the decor. However what the pictures don't reflect is how dated the decor is. The couch is worn down and stained. The curtain linings are ripped, not just a little but a lot as well as being stained. The floor trim is very dusty and dirty. The top of the end table is bubbled up from dampness and wear. The washer and dryer have rust on the front of them. The showers were clean and acceptable but definitely nothing high end. The front door and bedroom doors could use some TLC. I contacted the manager to let them know the sliding glass doors in the living room were extremely hard to open and close. They asked if I wanted someone to take a look at it and I said yes please at their convenience. It never got addressed all week. The ceiling was cracked and peeling. I'm not trying to say this was an awful experience. It wasn't, I was just surprised at the number of things that have been neglected. If these things were updated, I would definitely stay again but otherwise I would probably would not choose to stay again.

My family (my husband, myself, and 2 daughters 21 &26) stayed in unit 2315 at Tidewater Oct 5-9, 2022 and it was amazing! We vacation in PCB about twice a year and have for over 30 years and this was the cleanest, most well kept condo we have stayed in. I almost always have to sweep the floors upon arrival at any condo because of sand. I did not have to do that here. It was perfect! Everything we needed was there and the balcony was enormous!! Could see all kinds of marine life from it. The ONLY problem we encountered was slow elevators and since this is a review of the unit itself it was perfect!! I highly recommend this unit. Owners are easy to work with and check in/out is a breeze! Thanks everyone and has a blessed day!

All the necessities were there

We had a great stay at the Tidewater. The unit was properly stocked with everything we needed. The view was great from the 23rd floor and there are enough restaurants and stores near by that we didn't have to go to the car every time we needed something which is a bonus for us. Other reviews mentioned how slow the elevators in the building were, and they were not exaggerated. During check in times there could be a considerable wait. We just avoided the heavier traffic times and that worked well.
