About this property
The Snowmobile Trails are immaculate! The Snowshoeing is pristine!
Second Heaven Cottage is a family owned and maintained getaway in Harcourt.
There is lots of snow!! Good access and parking. Even in winter!
Snowshoeing is great and the winter views are stunning.
Nestled among trees with a wonderful view of Long Lake 100 yards away. The lake is no motors allowed which makes it rich with nature all year round. A quiet place for families and close friends to get away into the solitude. Long Lake is "top of the chain", in lake health. The richness of nature is exquisite. The environment is one of quiet and solitude. An ideal getaway.
Swimming is ideal. The lake is spring fed with easy beach access. Canoe and pedal boat for guest use to explore the quiet lake.

About the host
Hosted by Deanna Spence
Second Heaven Cottage is owned by two sisters, Deanna and Arlene. The cottage was built by our Father in 1985. Every inch was designed and built my our Father, a master carpenter. The property is a gem. Rich in nature. The solitude and the experience of being so close to nature is restorative and an unforgettable experience. Guests are thrilled with their stay, always. We love hosting because our guests are just so appreciative of their time spent on Long Lake and the value of their stay at the cottage. We hope you love it too!
What makes this property unique
Our cottage is fun all year round. Every season has it wonders.
The fall offers immersion in tree colours. Reds, yellows, oranges all around. Such a beautiful, fulfilling feeling to be nestled in amongst the trees.
Winter feels like being in a beautiful snow globe. Offering Ontario federation groomed snowmobile trails 300 metres away and forest bathing snowshoeing out the kitchen door.
Summer has the best swimming ever in a quiet, deep, spring fed no motors lake.
The cottage is handcrafted inside, all by our Father and Mother. Quite a beauty to admire.
