Absolutely everyone that has been here loves the setting. It is truly one of a kind peaceful and serene setting.
This is a beautiful paradise. Meticulously maintained, upscale luxury barn in a beautiful and relaxing setting that won't disappoint. It's all about the details ! You can entertain at the game table, sit by the wood burning stove, work out in the gym, sit in the sauna/hot tub/take a hike.

Note: there are 2 enclosed bedrooms with Queen beds. The Loft area has 3 trundle beds that open to 6 single beds. It is communal space. The rates posted are for 6 people with a Maximum of 8 at any time, ($25 per person per night extra) maximum.

Sorry: NO Hunting/NO Weapons / NO motorized vehicles/ATVs on premises. NO large parties/events or more than 8 people on premises at any point.

Golfers: Copake Greens on Copake Lake. (3 miles away)
Bikers: Explore the Harlem Valley Rail Trail (20 minutes away)
Boaters: rent time/boat on Copake lake. (3 miles away)
Hikers: Bash Bish Falls and Alander Mountain trail. (20 minutes away)
Theater: So many choices of summer theater in Berkshire.
Skiers: Catamount is 10 minutes away ! Butternut 20 minutes away

Note : the barn sits across from our weekend house which we primarily use during fall and winter so chances are good you will be alone on 52 acres or on occasion we will be across the way and discretely out of your way. You can ask me in advance, if I’ll be up at the house if it makes a difference to you.

Great space and well stocked for a weekend away. Loved the hot tub and other touches that really made the stay smooth. Easy instructions from Joe and great local recommendations. Better than pictured and the pictures are pretty amazing.

This is our third time visiting the barn! We love it! The entire place is incredible! Great kitchen, huge table for many to gather around. We enjoyed the hot tub while watching it rain. We saw wild turkeys and groundhogs. We walked the property almost everyday. The kitchen has all you need to cook great meals, There are nice little spots to sit and just look outside and wonderful comfy couches. We will definitely be back again.

Serenity and solitude! This place was perfect for our 10 day retreat. Meditation, qigong, long walks and picnicking by the pond, and it was perfect for our senior dog too.Back at the red barn house, we couldn’t get enough of the picture-window views—deer grazing beneath the apple trees, wild turkeys strolling across the field, birds of all kinds, clouds floating by, green fields and wildflowers everywhere. Rain or shine, there was always something beautiful to enjoy. The natural wood, artwork and thoughtful decor added to the peaceful atmosphere, and the spa and sauna were a lovely bonus.Joe was responsive and attentive throughout our stay, making sure we were comfortable. We left feeling rested and restored. A wonderful stay and an easy five stars!

Great experience overall and above-and-beyond communication from host while they were in a different time zone!! House had everything we (fam of 4 with 2 kids under 14, plus small dog) could need. Tips from owners before our visit and after were appreciated. Hot tub was a hit with the kids (supervised, of course). Lawn care came midway through visit but long after we were awake for the day (pass along our thanks to the crew!). This later in the week made roaming the grounds less wet for our sneakers. We did partial day trips to Hudson, Bash Bish Falls and Egremont,

This stunning property was absolutely perfect for our friends weekend in the Berkshires. It was immaculately clean, private, and yet close to many things to do in the area. The owner was great with communication, as well. We would definitely stay here again if we’re in the area!

The pictures didn’t do this place justice — it’s even more beautiful in person! The fall views over the orchard were stunning and we loved watching deer wander by in the early morning and at dusk. The rooms were perfectly sized, the kitchen was perfectly stocked and there were tons of games and movies for the kids. The host was incredible and gave us great local recommendations for things to do and places to eat. A perfect, quiet fall getaway — we can’t wait to return!

Our family had a blast !

My wife and I stayed with our 4 boys ages 14-23 and we had an amazing time. Lake Copake water sports and worked out at the high school gym each day for free. The restaurants and antique stores in nearby Hudson are top notch.

Cozy weekend

Another wonderful stay. Even with a rainy weekend, we were more than happy to stay in and enjoy this cozy barn, hot tub, sauna, wood stove and visit to Hudson. Lovely, clean property and the owners are so thoughtful and helpful. Highly recommend!

An Amazing Retreat for the Weekend!

My friends and I were looking for a place to stay that would give us a retreat from our busy city lives and this stay delivered in amazing ways! The house is located on beautiful grounds with amazing amenities (like in house sauna and hot tub rooms)! Our host, Joe, also was super communicative and kind and really made us feel taken care of! Highly recommend and plan to come back again whenever we can!

What an amazing place

This is one of the nicer VRBO’s we’ve stayed in. The restored barn was amazing with exposed hand beams, a well stocked kitchen, nice hot tub, and beautiful surroundings with a stream running nearby. The Vrbo was in great shape, very clean, with clear instructions on amenities for our stay. Thank you very much for an excellent Thanksgiving.

Amazing Property

We had a great stay at this beautiful barn. Joe was very helpful and informative from the moment we booked through to the time we had to leave. The barn itself was incredible and very conducive to our group of friends for hanging out, catching up and going on a few hikes in the area to enjoy the beautiful fall colors! Fabulous get away to enjoy Berkshires and Hudson Valley

The barn renovations are really impressive and the property is very inviting. We fully enjoyed our rest and relaxation with close proximity to enjoy the Berkshires, Catamount Ski area recreation, and John Andrews Farmhouse. Communication was superb. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful Barn Experience

The photos do not do this property justice. This "barn" is luxurious and comfortable. Joseph is a great host, very responsive and generous. I would definitely stay here again.
