About this property

Spacious West Sedona home in quiet neighborhood, 5 min walk to trails

Comfortable family home in a quiet neighborhood, convenient to hiking trails, with great views. Location is away from uptown Sedona traffic and convenient to grocery stores. Home has lots of "elbow room" for groups with two large patios, spacious living / dining area with gas fireplace, and eat in kitchen. Bedrooms consist of 1 king, 1 queen, and 2 twin beds.

This was my mother Cora's home for many years, and now is mine. It is filled with books, artworks, and mementos of our family history and of our travels around the world. If you are looking for a sterile hotel environment, this is not for you. If you enjoy a comfortable, spacious yet cozy home, with character and personal touches, you will love Casa Cora!

IMPORTANT: A recent Sedona law requires owners of vacation rental properties to conduct background checks on renters prior to arrival, which is why we've partnered with Know Your Guest (a division of the company SuperHog), the leading vacation rental guest-screening provider.

Fabulous home
This home exceeded our expectations. It is located in a perfect spot, near markets and restaurants, yet within easy walking distance of red rock hiking trails. The views from the backyard are incredible. The home is comfortable and equipped with everything we could possibly have needed, especially in the kitchen. It has enormous character and a sense of history, as signs of its past residents are everywhere. We enjoyed feeling as though we were visiting someone's actual home, instead of staying in a sterile, sanitized building; the house has warmth. The owner was very responsive, and communication was easy. We enjoyed our stay so much that we've already booked our next visit! Highly recommend it!

Lovely home!
We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Cora. The moment you walk through the front door, you’ll feel right at home! Plenty of space for our family of 6, we enjoyed every minute of our time in Sedona. This house has everything you could want… especially beautiful views and hikes right out the front door! We 100% would choose to stay here again on our next visit!

Absolutely wonderful stay
I spent 2 weeks at "Casa Cora". The house was perfect. The location was convenient to hiking and all tourist attractions. Everything we could have wanted was available in the beautifully appointed home. My sisters and I met from across the country for a wonderful vacation. The one twin bed was a but short for an adult but that was something that I should have considered. Anything that we looked for was well labeled. I was most impressed by the furnishings that made me feel at home. The host was considerate and quick with a response for any questions. I would definitely want to return and recommend this vrbo highly.

Lovely Home
We are two retired couples from the midwest who visit Sedona every year for the Film Festival and the outstanding hiking. We've rented many VRBO properties in the past, but this is the first Sedona home we plan to rent again next year. The property is well-maintained, filled with light, and a real home in every sense of that word. It's decorated with eclectic art, and has terrific views of Thunder Mountain and Coffee Pot formations. Located in West Sedona a short walk from the Sugarloaf trailhead, it is close to everything. Ann, the owner, is attentive and very accommodating. We highly recommend.

Ideal location for exploring Sedona; house has everything
This is a wonderful home with many personal touches, surrounded by natural beauty. Your stay is in a residential neighborhood close to trailheads, yet 10 minutes to the grocery store and wonderful restaurants. As first time visitors to Sedona we found it perfect. Very quiet surroundings, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, and miles of trails practically outside the door. Go!

I love hiking in and around Sedona with my family, and enjoy spending as much time there as I can. When I cannot be there, I am happy to share this wonderful home and great location with visitors to the area.

Why they chose this property

This was my mother Cora's home for many years, and now is mine. It is filled with books, artworks, and mementos of our family history and of our travels around the world. If you are looking for a sterile hotel environment, this is not for you. If you enjoy a comfortable, spacious yet cozy home, with character and personal touches, you will love Casa Cora!

What makes this property unique

Sunset views from the big kitchen table and the front patio; sunrises that light up Thunder Mountain with spectacular views from bed in the master suite and second bedroom; a quiet neighborhood set on a hillside above Sedona, surrounded on three sides by national forest land; beautiful walks in all directions on quiet neighborhood streets; yet quick drive down the hill to 89A takes you to grocery stores, restaurants, banks, a pharmacy and more. Bird feeders on the front patio bring an astounding variety of desert and migratory birds all year 'round. Nighttime brings incredible stargazing in this "dark skies" location, and the sounds of coyotes out in the surrounding national forest lands.
