The Sapphire Ridge cabin was outstanding with lots of privacy, good views of nature, in a quiet setting. Kayla is an excellent host, who was easy to reach with questions and answers. The place is fully equipped for an extended stay. The smart TV, coffee maker and kitchen appliances all work well. The hot tub deserves special mention. It was a very invigorating whirlpool under the stars.
Great place to getaway, relax and enjoy the quiet time with friends. Conveniently located near vineyards, mountain hiking, cycling and sightseeing! Cozy and comfortable!
We had a wonderful weekend getaway in this cabin. It was renovated to make the inside modern and nice while still being in the woods and having that privacy! The hot tub was the perfect touch!
The property was very neat. Looks better in real life than in the photos. The host was super attentive too, I recommend this place for nice getaway, also reasonably close to skyline drive which is a bonus.
The house is modern, clean, and tastefully decorated. Our family of four had plenty of space for time alone and together as a family. We especially enjoyed the hot tub at night and listening to the birds with our morning coffee. Would definitely go again!
Cozy and beautiful cabin with gorgeous views! The property was very clean and was a great getaway for a group of friends to have a small, low key, and relaxing bachelorette weekend. Loved that the kitchen was fully equipped, though no dishwasher, and the closet also provided some items in case we forgot anything during our outings, such as bug spray, lighters, matches, batteries, etc. The host was very communicative and quick to respond with any questions and needs we had. Only thing to note is that check out is listed at 11am but we were informed that it was 10am by the host as well as the welcome binder at the cabin. No big deal for us though. We had a lovely time!
This cabin is absolutely beautiful. Tons of natural light, pretty views and while it has a cozy feel, it's also decorated beautifully. My seven year old said the loft and the other bedroom he slept in looked "like something out of a dream" 😂 there is plenty of outdoor seating, but not as much inside eating sitting area, and while the kitchen has some good cooking tools (especially for it's size), if you're there in the winter when it's too cold to eat or grill outside, it may be easier to eat out. The lights over the fire pit give it a really nice feel, and there was plenty of dry wood, which was great for us to hang around the fire and make s'mores. It's super convenient to get to Shenandoah from the cabin, and considering the cabin is up on a mountain, the road to get there isn't bad! Also no issues with cell service. I only wish there wasn't as much cloud cover at night because the stars were gorgeous when the clouds broke apart a bit.
This cabin was a great place for us and our kids. We had an 18 year old with us and two younger kids. We all fit perfectly. The woods in the back provide great privacy while using the hot tub. My husband and kids enjoyed a run down and up the road each morning. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. The cabin is very clean and all the linens were clean as well. There is kitchen wares provided. Some people mentioned curtains for the early morning sun, but I see why they are not on the windows upstairs or in the living room. When waking up in the morning, when sleeping upstairs, you can see the trees through the living room windows. What a great view!!! I would not add the curtains in the upstairs or living room! It is perfect the way it is!
Thank you for providing a great place to stay in Front Royal!
The host was amazing and super communicative! The cabin was perfect, clean and conveniently located but still felt private.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy
Disliked: Communication
Positives- comfortable bed, cleanNegatives- small living room, kitchen and bathroom- small area between couch and stools to get to 1 bedroom and bathroom. House on hill above is close overlooking bedrooms- no curtains on 2 bedrooms! This is not an isolated, quiet area. There are houses all around-every time I went outside there were mowers, blowers, basketball bouncing, shouting. You have to go up a small, winding mountain road but no view to compensate. Very steep at top- have to gun it and turn into driveway at same time. I found it easier to go up to flat area above driveway and back in. Slippery shower and dirty shower curtain. Dishes out on high shelf- dusty and too high for short person. Overall this price was way too high for what you are getting.
We really enjoyed staying in this cozy house in the woods. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of hiking or kayaking the Shenandoah. We had a campfire and used the hottub daily. Plenty of room for each of us to have our own space, but cozy enough for gamenights, too!
Myself and 5 other friends stayed here for a weekend and it was perfect! The house was awesome and had everything we needed. There was plenty of space, a lovely hot tub, a firepit, and beautiful scenery. The inside felt very welcoming and the check-in/check-out process was extremely easy. We loved this stay!
Super clean. Super easy check in & check out. Quiet and beautiful setting. The windows bring the outdoors in. Fabulous to watch the electric storm through those big beautiful windows from the comfort of the couch.
A perfectly maintained home. The layout makes it feel so roomy. Bedrooms are perfect. HUGE floor to lofted ceiling window is majestic. Private enough where you feel like you’re miles away, even though you’re in a neighborhood.
We will return!!
