Port Angeles is a great location from which to both the Olympic National Park. It is also an easy ferry ride to Vancouver Island.
The house has a roomy and open floor plan. Ours was a reunion of 4 family couples.
We appreciated was having 4 separate bathrooms and showers. All of our families commented on how good the water pressure is. Not sure what this house has for a hot water heater, but even when multiple showers were on at the same time, hot water never ran short.
Kitchen, dining area and living room are all in a combined open area. Nice for those wanting to socialize together. The bedroom arrangement affords privacy when desired. We used the downstairs bedroom for adults. It has plenty of room, but the bed arrangement is better suited for kids.
One of the main floor bedrooms has an adjoining room with a separate bed. Great arrangement for parents bunking with a child. Less satisfactory for unrelated people as you must pass through the main bedroom for access. Upstairs bedroom is nice and private.
Despite having large closets, not all of the closets have a rod to accommodate hangers. It wasn't a problem for our group, but something to be aware of.
The house is not air-conditioned, but in this climate I can't imagine anyone missing it. The owner thoughtfully provided large fans for each room. We didn't need them, but it was nice to have them just in case.
We'd come back!
