Needs updating!
The property is in a very nice neighborhood. Although it is a stretch to say it is a short walk to the water, unless you go through private property. The house is beautiful on the outside, not so much inside. The master bath and kitchen need updating. The steps leading from kitchen down to family room and master bedroom to deck need to be up to code - very dangerous! A beautiful deck overlooks the fenced-in backyard. New windows and sliding glass door appeared to be recently installed. A little paint and TLC would go along way!

Thanks so much for this review Cory_ Our lodge is at the end of the block and does have direct water access for all guests, sorry if this was not conveyed to you. As our listing states Vista Pines is a rustic chalet that is a true original vintage cabin however we are taking your feedback to heart and will have these items looked into immediately. We are looking forward to hosting you again soon!
The cabin has vintage charm and was clean. The decor could use some updating. The location is perfect for walking to the lake. I would have liked to see better patio furniture. The bed was very comfortable. I rated the cleanliness at 4 because there was some trash left around the property outdoors but this was probably from prior renters.
