The Tiny Houses of French Village were intentionally designed to be a place to slow down. Many of our guests come here not because there`s a long list of things to do, but because there`s finally nothing they have to do. Spend your days sipping coffee on the porch, floating in the seasonal community pool, enjoying a campfire under the stars, taking a walk through the woods, reading a book, reconnecting with family and friends, or simply enjoying the peace that can be hard to find in everyday life. If you`re looking for adventure, you`ll find plenty nearby as well: • Hiking and nature trails • St. Joe State Park ATV and off-road riding • Bonne Terre Mine tours • Wineries and local breweries • Historic Ste. Genevieve shopping and dining • Antique stores and boutiques • Local festivals and community events • Fishing and outdoor recreation • Scenic drives through the Missouri countryside • Golf courses • Nearby restaurants and cafés • Seasonal farmers` markets Whether you spend the weekend exploring the region or never leave your porch, the Tiny Houses of French Village offer the perfect balance of adventure, relaxation, and serenity. Our favorite activity? Doing absolutely nothing at all.

Property was beautiful. Had a issue with house not being cleaned yet when we checked in, but we were immediately set up in house next door that was cleaned and ready for rental.
The attention to detail was phenomenal. This place was perfection in every way! Wonderful little getaway spot! Loved our visit and will definitely be back!
The place is cute as can be. Owner has done a nice job of decorating in a compact space. We were greeted with a bottle of wine and some snacks.
The linens were plentiful and 5*. Kitchen was well appointed with a combo cooking oven. The place could use a table for eating. What’s there fits 1 nicely. The bathroom was comfortable, although the sink was too tiny to use comfortably.
If you’re planning to cook, bring food. The nearest grocery store, 25-30 min drive, is a small local grocery with limited selection. The town was very friendly and had a diner serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, 7 days a week.
The setting was lovely in a quiet area. View out the back was great.
There is no place to hang clothes. There’s a nice sized closet, but it’s full of clean supplies. Finding a way to consolidate to provide a bit of hanging space would be great.
TV was great but unless you had good cell service and hot spotted, you’re left with a good supply of older movies. Internet would be a great addition.
We found some great hiking trails about 30 minutes drive.
The owner was great. She returned a forgotten item. If you’re looking for a cute, clean, secluded getaway for two, I would recommend this place.
