You have total and complete private access to your Casita with a separate entry and for your use only a large 400 sq ft deck off the main bedroom outfitted with Plywood Modern Adirondack chairs and a 6 seat 54 inch round dining table with a fire-pit to keep you toasty at night while BBQing on your Weber Gas grill. Water views at end of deck.
The Neighborhood:
One of the most family-friendly and walkable areas of Newport Beach.
There are plenty of cabs, car rentals, bike rentals, Uber, and Lyft. We are located close to restaurants and shops so there is plenty to walk to. During the summer, the city has a open air trolley that runs on the peninsula.
Other Things to Note:
Bring your fishing poles! The main pier is for fishing and our small dock is for loading/unloading passengers. There are electric and motor boats for rent at the Pavilion. And there`s a great tot lot on our beach.
Parking is not an issue. There is a NO SHARE garage (takes smaller than a minivan) for each Casa with one exception, Casita 216A (LOWER) has a parking space on the right of the building. Medium or smaller car accessed by short driveway on left (may need spotter for backing in if your desire).
Space 8 1/2 ft wide 23 deep. There is plenty of metered (by pay station...free at night) and non-metered parking. You can purchase a parking permit from the city (Blue Pole) for Lincoln Nav size vehicle. Must
move for street sweeping.
Must be 25 or over to reserve and must stay on property during entire reservation time period
Provide number of guests staying.
Limit number of day guests to depart by 10PM.
Quiet hours 10PM–8AM. Strictly enforced. Take your group inside.
No large parties, weddings, or commercial business activities.
Small family bbq's are fine. Check with Casa de Balboa regarding number of guests.
Pet friendly with prior approval of breed. Fee plus tax applies. NO cats.

My family and I enjoyed staying here and plan to return next summer! The unit was modern and bright. It was very clean and had everything we needed from extra towels to pans. You could see the ocean and harbor from the patio which had plenty of space and seating. The host was quick to respond to a couple questions.
Enjoyed are stay at 216B Newport Beach. Everything was so close, beach, restaurants, Balboa pier with a ferry and also daily trips to Catalina Island. Our host kept in contact with us and provided us with instructions and area stores and restaurants. We had to leave a day early because of airline issue. Our bed was so comfortable and we had everything we needed. Beach chairs, well stocked kitchen, great appliances. We would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.

Property had top quality appliances and furnishings. The garage actually fits TWO medium sized cars...a huge advantage with street parking difficult, and the huge deck over the garage is outstanding.

Great newly remodeled place. No wonder the owner was meticulous with rules. I would want to take care of it too! Place was super clean and this was the most furnished rental property me and my family have ever been. For folks who are looking to stay at a very clean place in a central location, this is it!!!!! We will look to stay there again, please take care of it so that when we return, it still looks and smells new! :)

I hesitate to give such a great review because I want to make sure there is availability next time we rent here! But seriously, we cannot say enough good things about this property. We rented a car but for our purposes this was unnecessary because the location was so central we could walk everywhere or a short Uber ride. Communications with the property manager was outstanding. Very quick responses to all questions. Property extremely well appointed. Appliances like you’d have at home. Quiet street but near everything. Very clean and well organized. Highly recommend it. We will be back.
