Spacious, open, 3-Bedroom 2 bath House with Lake Mitchell views

Directly across from our other property, see listing #309937, this would be perfect for vacationing with family and friends but still have your own place to sleep and relax.
Views of Lake Mitchell while relaxing on large front deck. Open floor plan with master bedroom with queen bed, living area, full bath, kitchen with washer/dryer, free standing bar with two bar stools, gas fireplace, eating area with table all located on the main floor. Main floor is all 3/4' oak except in bath which has porcelain tile.
Overlooking the main floor is two bedrooms with queen bed in one and bunk beds in the other, both with generous closets. Full bath with tile and carpeting in hallway and both bedrooms. Open oak railing looks toward two large skylights in vaulted ceiling and lower living area. Ceiling fans are located in living room and two bedrooms.


Amenities:: Kitchen has microwave, dishwasher, stove, washer/dryer, dinnerware. All linens are included, cooking deck off kitchen area with gas grill. 42'' Plasma TV with DVD/VCR player, stereo with in wall surround sound speakers, front deck with patio set with 6 chairs, rocking bench with fire pit.


Activities:: Swimming, boating, sailing, water skiing, golfing, hiking, water fun park with go carts and putt/putt golf are just a few activities for the summer months. Downhill and cross country skiing, snowmobiling, ice fishing, and numerous other pursuits for winter time fun. Caberfae ski and golf is only 12 miles away, seven other championship golf courses are within a few minutes drive. Manistee, Traverse City, and two casinos are all within a 45 minute drive from Cadillac. Downtown Cadillac offers many dining options as well as a great place to stroll the waterfront of Lake Cadillac and browse the many shops the area has to offer.


Area:: Located on the West side of Lake Mitchell you are located on the quiet side of the lake with awesome sunrises between Little cove and Big cove. Lake access close by with a boat launch within a quarter mile. Lake Mitchell is attached by canal to Lake Cadillac which offers bike and jogging trails and a large docking area to pull your boat up to dine and take in the activities of downtown Cadillac.

Peaceful stay

We had a nice stay in Cadillac. The property was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The hosts were responsive. Unfortunately, we had no wi-fi during our stay, although the hosts did try to remedy the situation without success. A welcome booklet including the internet network name (not simply the password) and the check out instructions at the property would be a great addition.

Great layout

My four cousins and I stayed for 3 nights. Reserving was a breeze and communication with Lisa was easy with quick responses. One cousin is blind and the main floor bedroom and bathroom layout was very easy for him to navigate. Plenty of room for us all. Would definitely stay again.

Nice But Needs A Few Changes

This was a nice house in a quite area. Beautiful view of sunrise every morning. There are a few things that need to be fixed. The water has a bad sulfur smell. Don't know if that is common for this area or the water heater needs to be cleaned. The shower head in the downstairs bathroom needs to be replaced. Shoots water every where but on you. We are from the south and found the weather nice even though it was 90 degrees some days. There is no AC in the house so we left the windows open and ceiling fans going most of the day but house was stuffy. Window unit in downstairs bedroom was fine for that room but upstairs rooms were warm even with fans running. Overall house was clean and enjoyed our stay.

Cozy place

Had a good time renting this cute house in Cadillac. It was easy access to town. Clean and very comfy. I needed directions on using remote for Direct TV since I don't have this at home.

Great ski get-away

Wonderful place for our family of four to stay while skiing at Caberfae. Comfortable living room. So nice to have two full bathrooms. Especially appreciated the wifi, and finding sugar in the kitchen. I love a morning tea and I forgot to pack sugar. It's the little things. Plus the owners were very friendly. This cottage is on the other side of the road from the lake. 20 minute car ride to Caberfae. Worked out great for us.

House in Cadillac

The rental in Cadillac was great. Nice views of the lake and access directly across the street for our kayaks. We rented a pontoon boat from Cheryl’s Landing one day and the owners couldn’t have been nicer. The price was very reasonable as well.

What a great place!

We just returned from our Michigan vacation, having stayed in a couple different towns, and this was definitely our favorite! Even with my wife and I and our four kids, there were plenty of beds, and with lake access right across the road, the kids were jumping in the water as much as possible. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it!

Very spacious, clean, convenenient, and beautiful home with all the amenities.

Owners are very accommodating, friendly, and available by phone. I would highly recommend this rental. It's so nice to not be confined to motel space and noise. Although we didn't spend a lot of time here, it was perfect for relaxing at the end of the day, and a convenient " home base" for downtime and location to Cadillac. Beautiful sunrises across the street on Lake Mitchell ! A quiet and safe neighborhood.

Enjoyable place to stay

This is a well decorated and furnished vacation home. It appears small in the picture. However you will be surprised how much room you have. The furnishings look like it was decorated and equipped by a professional. Highly recommend!
