About this property

The Coyote Cabin at Palo Duro

The Coyote is a small cabin, approximately 12’ x 12’ on the inside, with a covered front porch and an extended side deck with a view east towards Palo Duro Canyon.

Designed for just two guests, it offers more open space inside than our other tiny cabin, the Roadrunner. It is furnished with a queen bed, table and chairs, a bathroom with shower and toilet, a kitchenette with a mini-fridge, sink, microwave, coffeemaker, and an outdoor area with gas grill (we provide the propane). There is a Roku TV. It has a window A/C unit and a panel wall heater.

Please note: This is one of multiple vacation rentals on our property. While there are other cabins on the property, each rental is separate with no shared spaces.

Fun tiny cabin, would stay again. This site (Coyote Cabin) has three different sitting areas with shade and a nice breeze. Longhorns were fun to watch and came right up to the property line.

Great location. Parking in front of cabin was easy. Loved the printed sheets. Only downside were the flies but there was a flyswatter. View is somewhat marred by a rr boxcar. The cabin was well designed, cozy, and well stocked. We recommend it!

Clean property. The host was very easy to communicate with. It definitely was a tiny house, but served it's purpose and we really enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evenings/nights watching the longhorns and looking at the stars. The only suggestion might be to have 3 bath towels instead of 2, since most women use two towels when they shower. We enjoyed our time!

This was such a cozy and sweet space to spend a night just outside of Palo Duro Canyon. I will definitely patron again. Great site for family gathering, with grills and corn hole.

Everything was great. The place was neat and cozy and super convenient to Palo Duro Canyon Park. The deck was great for sitting out at night stargazing and also added a bonus visiting with the Longhorns! They came right up to the deck several times during the stay just to say hi.

Perfect for our one night stay! Loved the location could not have been more ideal. Our one year old was absolutely thrilled when he saw the long horn eating literally right of the deck. Would definitely stay here again on a family trip.
