The Cozy Buffalo is a spacious home with a farmhouse feel. It is in walking distance from the college campus, close to the downtown square, and a 10 minute drive to Palo Duro Canyon. Palo Duro Canyon offers hiking, zip lining, horseback riding, the play Texas, and a multitude of other activities.
The Cozy Buffalo is a home away from home for all of our guests. Including Wifi, Direct TV with 155 + channels, Netflix, Hulu, and many other streaming programs with your username and password.

Features of the home

This 2400 sq ft home has a lot of room for activities or a simple relaxing weekend. It has 2 large living rooms, a nice dining room, a reading nook, and 3 spacious bedrooms. We have added many touches that make the Cozy Buffalo feel like home.

Guest are allowed to access all parts of the house.

What a great place! We were in Canyon for a family wedding and the Cozy Buffalo was perfect for us. Plenty of spaces to relax and hangout, as well as get ready for the wedding. Excellent hospitality and Kelby was a responsive, welcoming, and hospitable host.

Host ,Kelby, was very welcoming, easy to contact and accomodating. House was great if you have toddlers or crawling infants, with only one large level transition in the kitchen area and plenty of roo. For a pack and play or toddler cot in each room. Kitchen was stocked well for cooking simple meals in. Very conveniently located with only 15 minutes from Palo Duro Canyon State Park.

Great location, house is very roomy and perfect for our family. We were visiting to attend a family reunion in the Palo Duro State Park area. The state park is well worth visiting and offers so much; hiking, scenic views, jeep tours, horseback riding. Also, this property is nearby many good restaurants and coffee shops. And, our family enjoyed the Aqua Park swimming pool in the area.

This is an older large rambling house great for several parties staying together or adults who need some privacy. Very clean & well maintained; large fenced backyard for kids/pets to blow off steam. Host very responsive. Would definitely stay here again if we needed the space.

Had our parents stay with us as well as our son that goes to WT. Had our 3 dogs as well that enjoyed the backyard. Unfortunately our 4th dog had to stay at home because only 3 dogs are allowed. But nonetheless it was a great stay.
