This condo in a 25 unit building was exactly as described and photographed in the VRBO listing. The unit layout works nicely for 2 adult couples as it is "U" shaped with a private bedroom and bathroom at each leg of the "U" promoting both convenience and privacy. The kitchen is well equipped and all appliances are high end. There are convenient small appliances including an electric water kettle and Keurig for those who enjoy freshly brewed coffee. The owner/manager, Martha is friendly and highly responsive and responsible. She readily makes it evident that she will do everything reasonable to insure that you enjoy your stay. She is there to greet you as you arrive and demonstrate all the nuances that otherwise might be puzzling like garage access and digital door lock. She was quick to point out amenities within walking distance including our favorite "Back on the Beach Cafe " for breakfast and lunch. This condo is clean, modern, incredibly well located for beach walks and going into town. It is spacious enough for social gathering and TV watching. Those who do not have access to a car or simply don't want to drive will find Uber and Waymo readily available. Pricing for what you get is at market rates. There are no downsides to this rental with one minor exception that Martha herself pointed out. The large L-shaped sofa in the living room is white yet washable. If you are like us and treat a rental as though it were your own, you should forgo the chips and salsa at TV time

Excellent Vacation Rental

What a great place to hang your hat in California. The apartment is beautiful and clean and has everything you need. We moved in for 5 and a half weeks and felt right at home! Martha was an incredible host and prepped the unit with everything you would want! We loved it. Fantastic location right in the beach! 5 star accommodation and host all the way !

Great summer rental

Our stay left as perfect of a lasting memory for the summer 2023 as we could have imagined. The location literally is on the sand and was super convenient for our summer with our two young children who were attending nearby beach camp. The renovated and designed unit is beautiful with lots of storage, comfortable furniture and amenities, and a layout that functions very well for a family of 4 plus the occasional guest. All interactions with the property manager were exceptional - friendly, timely, thoughtful, and helpful. We would absolutely stay again and think this is a great place if you want to be right on the Santa Monica sand and all it has to offer to explore.

Heaven at the Beach

The condo more than delivered! Generous space included 2 large bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms on opposite sides of the condo so when our family visited (with our two young granddaughters) everyone had comfort and privacy. The great room with living, dining and kitchen leads to the large outdoor deck and a grand view of the Santa Monica beach and the Pacific. Stunning sunsets just outdoors! And 2 perfect playgrounds steps away. A five minute drive to shops and restaurants on Montana Ave. We walked every day on the promenade along the beach, to the SM Pier, Shutters on the Beach hotel and more. The building is quiet even though near the Pacific Coast Highway. We’ll be back!

Why they chose this property

The best part about the location is that it is just slightly north of the busy tourist areas. There is a children’s playground next to the building and the boardwalk is outside our door and takes you as far south as the airport! You can also rent a bike just outside our door and ride the boardwalk down to the busier areas.

What makes this property unique

We are located right on the sand in North Santa Monica. Far enough away from the world-famous pier to be quiet yet still a reasonable walking distance to it. Located right beside 2 pedestrian walkways that take you up to Ocean Avenue and Montana Avenue where all the restaurants, cafes and shopping are located. There is also a playground located next to the building.
